Research On Cheng Duolu’s Poems

Cheng Duolu,Song Xiaolian and XuNailin are called "three outstanding people in JiLin",and they are important regional celebrities in the Northeast of china during the late Qing Dynasty and early Republic of China.Cheng Duolu achieved the highest achievement in poetry among the three people.There are more than 860 existing poems.The subject matter is very broad.He learned from different people and formed his own style.This thesis is divided into five parts.The introductory part is based on the full study of existing academic articles,and focuses on analyzing the status quo of Cheng Duolu’s poetry research and clarifying its existing deficiencies.The author believes that due to space limitations and lack of comprehensive and in-depth study of the text,insufficient use of existing materials,and so on.Ieading to the problems that the classification of poetry subject matter is not comprehensive enough,the art style of poetry is not systematic and deep,the understanding of the research object is too simplistic,and the argumentation of the article is weak and persuasive.Therefore,the first chapter begins with Cheng Duolu’s family history,life,and friendship,so that people first have a basic understanding of this figure,and lay the foundation for the study of poetry.The second chapter discusses the ideological contents of his poetry from the five aspects of chronicle,sketching,feelings of life,gratitude,and painting,and discovers the complexity and contradiction of his thoughts in the process.The third chapter analyzes the artistic features of poetry from four aspects: genre,conception,language,and technique,.We have come to the conclusion that his poetic genres are diverse,his ideas and feelings are real,his language is natural and refined,his style is calm,and he is good at using allusions.The fourth chapter analyzes its influence and significance to later generations from three aspects: literary value,cultural value and historical value.In the course of research,this paper strives to be accurate,systematic,comprehensive,and in-depth,in order to look forward to making up for the deficiencies of existing research,and to provide further reference for the research of Cheng Duolu in the future.
