The upper reaches of Minjiang River in northwestern Sichuan are the main areas where Q iang nationality lived. After many migrations, the Qiang ancestors came here to live and work in peace and contentment, living side by side with the Han and Tibetan nationalities.Through their own d evelopment and exchanges and integration with the surrounding nationalities, the Q iang culture, which has the national characteristics of Han and Tibet, but also has its own national characteristics, has been created.Diet culture is one of the components. However, due to the differences in nature and social environment, the Q iang people who live in valley areas and in the high mountain areas have different diets.Compared with the valley area, the high-altitude mountainous area has steep terrain and inconvenient transportation. It is less affected by the towns and cities. Therefore, the diet here retains the traditional characteristics of the Q iang people.Yueli Q iang Village is a traditional village in the high mountain areas.Villagers have been working here for generations to survive. As the basis of survival, food is used by the villagers for daily life and festival ceremonies, thus forming the village diet order. In this process, villagers also learned their own culture. For this purpose, choosing Yueli Q iang Village as the field point and taking diet as the research object, the paper describes the food production in the diet and gender division of daily life in the village of Yueli Village by using relevant theories of food classification, diet and gender, food exchange, diet and rituals,so as to explore the daily dietary order and the social gender order of food production, and analyzes the symbolic meaning and order rules of diet in the two aspects of human interaction and human communication with God.At the same time,it pays attention to the Yueli Village people diet changes under the development of the times, trying to explore the upper reaches of the Minjiang River high mountain Qiang food culture development characteristics and practical significance for the development of villages. The study in the paper founds that: First,in the natural and social environment of the high mountain area, villagers to obtain food through farming and animal husbandry production. The food obtained was integrated with the villagers' cultural concepts in the process of being classified, produced and consumed, and formed a basic daily diet order. At the same time, certain foods are chosen by people to give symbolic meaning. Then, between humans and between humans and s upernatural gods, they were divided and connected to orderly regulate the village society.Second, with the development of society, the diet of villagers is changing. However, the changes in its form did not break the original dietary order, which reflects the adaptability of the Qiang diet culture in the high mountain area in the upper reaches of the Minjiang River in social development.Third, the adjustment of diet promoted the villagers' traditional concept,so that the Qiang village can better adapt to the development of society.
