With the new curriculum and instruction models progressing,teachers have adapted different teaching approaches to meet the time requirement.teachers show the new conception of teaching by giving priority to students but teachers and students.Among them,role playing can best reflect the new concept of teaching.the reason is role-play method is made for the primary school students' development both mentally and physically.Besides,it can feed their desire to perform.Most importantly,it is a new teaching method to exchange the roles that the traditional class activities have set.Until now,this kind of teaching method has raised great concern and research.It cannot only evoke students' learning passion,but could train their verbal expressions and improve their English language competence in vivid,amusing settings.Firstly,Based on analyzing and sorting out those materials already have,this thesis uses the method of literature research to understand the research status of role playing.Secondly,Combined with teaching practiced,the author firstly makes an investigation in my school by combing theories and practice.Many research methods are adapted,including questionnaire,interview,and experiment and observing,to investigate the teachers and students from my school and around.At last,In the analysis of the data,the following problems exist in the application of role playing teaching in practical teaching.First.Specifically,teachers have no understanding the role-play teaching method and students are unfamiliar with that.Second.teachers' teaching mode is single,teachers' organization lacks,students' participation is not high,and classroom evaluation is brief.Third.teachers' ideology is out of date,and teaching ideas are not updated.Students are influenced by regional culture.Their vision is relatively narrow,and they are slow to accept new things.In order to solve the above problems,For the purpose to let role-play method to better guide local teaching,this research analyzes the dialogue section in PEP edition text book for primary school to figure out those dialogue suitable to role-play.In reallyteaching,the author make role-play to teach using those method could evoke students motivation to learn English train extensive capacities and change the traditional teaching concepts.Using experiments and teaching.After teaching reflection,we put forward the strategies and methods of improvement,and have achieved certain results in the teaching.During writing the Thesis,the researcher apply the role-play into class activities by experiment methods Some achievements have been achieved in the teaching and can be written in this paper.teaching examples are presented to analyze the problems and reasons occurred in real class.After class review some improvement measures and methods are put forward aiming at working out a dialogue teaching method suited local primary school.Based on previous researches,the thesis gives more practical teaching cases.It put forward that role-play evaluation,teachers' evaluation,among students' evaluation and after class review evaluation etc.Then the existing problem are solved during the process and some pointed strategies are come up with.Thus,the efficiency of dialogue teaching could be improved the general language competency of students is hoisted and words as well as reading could be facilitated as well.Finally,they laid a solid foundation to further English learning.
