The Research On Rice Price Changing During The Qianjiadao Time In Jiangnan Area Of Qing Dynasty

In recent years,the rice price study of Qing Dynasty has become a growing-concern topic of research in economic historians.The existing research results only payed attention to the general situation of food price,such as economic system,regional market and food selling agencies.Lacking consideration from produce,circulation and the investigation consumption of this chain-system industry.As the most developed region,studying the price of rice in this area,it can not only deepen our knowledge about the development of commodity grain economy,but also expand regional social economic history as an important research topic.In this paper,Jiangnan rice price is the main study object,making the price table and sheet as the main raw materials to support,mainly aiming on the characteristics of rice price in Jiangnan area.The research divides into four aspects,including rice and grain price system,analysis of price,factors of rice price oscillation,the influence of the change of rice price for social production and life,to study the distinguishing features of rice price gradually.Based on the grain economy,the paper studies the development of commodity economy and the evolution of urbanization in Jiangnan area.This paper first analyzes the basic situation of grain production and the price of rice in Jiangnan region.Secondly,the Jiangnan region can be divided into two parts for specific consideration,relying on price fluctuation image to research.Wth the comparison of Jiangnan market and Lianghu,Jingjin market to study the national grain market.Rising from the perspective of regional market to a comprehensive survey of the national market.Finally the paper analyzes the reason and influence of Jiangnan rice-price changing,mainly from cost,market,environment and society to consider.Then discussing the price changing impacts on the humanities and society,which can form a very fruitful logic system,letting the research on social economy of Jiangnan to a deeper prospect.Jiangnan rice played an important role in the Qing Dynasty all the time,in view of its special status from first to last,it has profound significance to study the changes of the rice price on researching modernization process of modern history and thechanges on social and economic structure of this region in the middle and late Qing Dynasty.
