The game teaching method lets the students learn in the happiness.It is a new teaching method which accords with the new curriculum reform idea and the students' psychological characteristics.This paper uses literature research,questionnaire survey,interview and other research methods.Based on the literature review of the game teaching method,the author discusses the connotation of game teaching.Then,this paper analyzes the current situation of English game teaching method in primary school,and finally puts forward the strategy of improving English game teaching in primary school,so as to provide theoretical support and practical enlightenment for front-line teachers.This study consists of five parts:In the first part,the researcher mainly introduces the research origin,research significance,the current situation of the research on the game teaching method at home and abroad,and then puts forward the research methods and ideas on this basis.In the second part,the researcher defines the game teaching method related concept,and elaborates the method of game teaching theoretical basis.In this part,the researcher also gives a description of the characteristic of game teaching method,puts forward the principles and the function of it.In the following part,the researcher takes 32 primary school in Zhejiang province as the research field.Through the questionnaire survey and interviews for this research,the researcher gets data.And then,the researcher gives an analysis of the present reality of the game teaching of primary school.In the fourth part,the author constructs the strategies for improving the English game teaching in primary schools.It includes making game atmosphere contextualized,making game content interesting,making game process ordering,enriching game form,amplifying game participation face and diversifying game evaluation.The fifth part is about the reflection and prospect of this research,which expresses the author's hope that game teaching will be more perfect.
