Historic districts are not just geographical spaces in the traditional physical sense,they are also the space place entity with human activities,urban memories and cultural creation and inheritance.They are typical culture space with culturally,spatially,and temporally.Therefore,in the development and construction of the historic districts,emphasizing the protection of real culture in the development and construction of historic districts.But with the significant changes in people's consumption concepts and needs in the era of consumption,the transformation of historical districts in line with modern consumer demand has become inevitable.At the same time,space production theory as a scientific theoretical method for analyzing social relations from a spatial perspective.It can provide a new research perspective for exploring the development and construction of historic districts,the powers and conflicts of various activities.This paper takes the Lefebvre space production and domestic and foreign cultural space research as the theoretical basis,selects typical historic district cultural space Hancheng ancient city for a case to research,and uses multiple social survey methods and statistical analysis methods to conduct research.This study analyze mainly from the following aspects:First of all,define the concept of historic district and cultural spaces,analyze the domestic and foreign research progress in space production and cultural space,and summarize the three-dimensional theoretical framework of space production,.This will provide theoretical guidance and the exploration of the dynamic mechanism for the case study.Secondly,Based on the three-dimensional theoretical framework of space production,From this three aspects of the practice of space,the representation of space,and represented space,to comprehensive analyze the production process of the cultural space in Hancheng ancient city.Use web text analysis,interviews,and questionnaires to collect and process data to study the changes and current status and summarize the logic of cultural space production in Hancheng ancient city.At last,According to the research on the cultural space production of Hancheng ancient city,to sum up dynamic mechanism about the cultural space production of historic districts.This paper argues that the dynamic mechanism about the cultural space production of historic districts include external motivation,internal motivation and important factor.External motivation has three parts:government power,capital market and local subject.Cultural resources are internal motivation of cultural space production.The experience and feelings of activists are important factor of cultural space production.The purpose of this paper is to deep inside the space,research the cultural composition,manifestations,cultural heritage,creation and development of historic districts.Profound analysis the game of power and conflict in each space subject behind culture.Expect to expand the space production theory,provide reference and help for protection,transformation and sustainable development of historic districts.And to provide references for the construction and shaping of culture space in historic districts.
