Study On The Space Configuration Of The Ancient City Of Zhangzhou Based On Space Syntax

A historical and cultural city is a rare cultural heritage that is non-renewable and unrepeatable.In the modern tourism tide,the protection and development of the ancient city has always been a major topic of discussion among experts and scholars.The tour space is the carrier of tourism.In the tour space configuration of the ancient city,experts and scholars mainly use qualitative research methods,according to the urban pattern and historical culture,combined with experience to explore the spatial layout.This qualitative research method lacks the quantitative analysis of the accessibility of the road network space,and cannot provide scientific data support for the implantation space of tourism projects.Based on the space syntax street network axis(line segment)analysis method,this paper quantitatively analyzes the spatial configuration of the road network,and obtains the accessibility and crossing value of the street network space.At the same time,using the theory and method of organic renewal and activation,the local tourism project is implanted into the tourism centers at all levels.This has certain practical guiding significance for the optimization and adjustment of the space configuration of the ancient city of Zhangzhou.The ancient city of Zhangzhou is a historical and cultural city.Now the ancient city toxxr space configuration is strong outside and weak inside,not unique and competitive.How to scientifically reconstruct the space of the tour is a realistic problem.Based on spatial layout theory,spatial syntactic network configuration quantitative data and ancient city protection and development methods,this paper configured the tour space of a center and four secondary centers,forming a "plate tourism" space by combining with points,lines and surfaces.The study found that:1.The syntactic value of the central street of the ancient city is higher,indicating that the accessibility and traversal of the checkerboard road network is better.2.The existing business layout is mainly located in the surrounding area of the ancient city.The road network space with good accessibility is not implanted into the tourism experience project,and the layout is unreasonable.3.Analysis of spatial syntactic variables shows that the core blocks have spread from Taiwan Road and Hong Kong Road to the entire core protected area.These areas have high-intensity potential networks for transportation and intensive activities,which can become the first-level and secondary tourism center of the ancient city.4.Qualitative analysis methods such as organic renewal are essential methods for configuring the tour space of historical and cultural ancient city.For the first time,this paper uses the combination of spatial syntax quantitative analysis and organic renewal qualitative analysis to study the space configuration problem of the ancient city of Zhangzhou,which provides a more rational and scientific research method for the ancient city tour space configuration,However,the spatial syntax DepthmapX software does not include the analysis of the human flow of the street network,which is the direction of our future efforts.
