Objective: Latin dance is a popular sport in recent years and combines art and sports.This study conducted 40 students from 9-11,and organized test activities before and after the intervention around four key indicators that could reflect the health fitness level,namely,cardiopulmonary function,body composition,muscle strength and muscle endurance,flexibility,analyzed the test results before and after the intervention,demonstrated what positive impact on children’s physical health,and provided a theoretical basis for Latin dance fitness activities.Research Methods: For the research purposes,A 16-week Latin dance training intervention for 40 students aged 9-11 from Yu Hui Dance Art School,Before and after the health fitness index test for intervention,The test content included: to evaluate the subjects ’ cardiopulmonary endurance with the three-minute step test method;The body composition of the subject was evaluated by the skin fold thickness method;Assess the muscle strength and endurance of the upper limbs,lower limbs and trunk through holding strength,standing long jump and one-minute sit-up tests;Evaluation evaluate is evaluated by by-front flexibility,By comparing the differences between the above indicators before and after 16 weeks of Latin dance training,Analyze how the positive impact of Latin dance training has on children’s physical fitness index.Results:(1)Three-minute step experiment before and after the intervention,Compared to the first three experimental heart rate(78.65 ± 3.86 / 30 s,67.25 ±4.51 / 30 s,62.6 ± 4.29 / 30s),Three decrease(73.78 ± 3.82 / 30 s,63.65 ± 4.68 /30 s,60.18 ± 4.4 / 30s)(P <0.05);Compared to the Experimental Front Step Index(43.29 ± 2.34),Improvement after the experiment(45.7 ± 2.66)(P <0.05);(2)Post-experimental(16.14±5mm,10±3.68mm)reduced(P<0.05);compared to experimental(17.89±5.21mm)and scapular subcutaneous fold thickness(10.56 ±3.67mm)and preexperimental body density index(10.56±3.67mm)(3)Post-experimental(35.79±7.91lb)improvement(P <0.05),1.25±0.11m(P> 0.05)(P> 0.05)and 30.15 ± 5.06 / points)(P <0.01);(4)Post-experimental(12.26 ± 4.39)improvement(P <0.05).Research conclusion:(1)Latin dance training can effectively improve the cardiopulmonary endurance of the trainees,the comparison results showed: after intervention than before intervention,the intervention recovery heart rate decreased than before intervention,intervention step index than before intervention,the higher the evaluation of the steps index,the stronger,the steps index after the intervention,further shows the improvement of cardiopulmonary endurance.(2)Latin dance training can effectively improve the body composition of the trainees.The comparison results show that the mean before and after intervention,the skin fold thickness after intervention is reduced than the skin fold thickness before intervention,and through the average body density,the body density after intervention is improved than before intervention.The rising trend of body density further proves the increased body density of the subjects,indicating that the students ’ body composition,improve the body density and reduce the fat content through the exercise of Latin dance.(3)Latin dance training can effectively improve the muscle strength and muscle endurance of the trainees.The comparison results showed that before and after the intervention training,children’s grip value,standing long jump results and sit-up results have been significantly improved.The grip power value after intervention was improved compared with the pre-grip power value before intervention,the vertical long jump test performance was improved than before intervention,and the post-intervention sit-up performance was improved compared with the sit-up performance before intervention.Latin dance is a dance requiring explosive power,which can effectively improve muscle strength and Latin dance endurance.(4)Latin dance training effectively improves the body flexibility of the trainees.The comparison results showed that before and after the intervention training,the average value of children after the sitting position anterior flexion intervention was higher than the pre-intervention average,indicating that the participation in Latin dance training had an active role on the flexibility of the human body.The training content of Latin dance can promote the blood circulation of primary school students,help the bone development,enhance the body flexibility,and meet the physiological needs of the growth and development of primary school students.(5)Through finishing all the data show that Latin dance for four important indicators of health body fitness,the biggest impact on cardiopulmonary endurance fitness,the smallest impact on flexibility,the impact of the body composition,muscle strength and muscle endurance,shows that in the Latin dance,because most of the time in the basic steps,weakened the basic exercise of flexibility.However,in the middle and late stages of Latin dance learning,with the increase of difficulty and dance species,it will improve the requirements for the quality of the human body. |
