For a long time,Chinese has been regarded as one of the "most difficult language".Although Ma Wen Tong has applied Western grammar theories and methods to Chinese learning,it has established Chinese language law,but its driving effect on Chinese teaching is still not ideal.In late 80 s,the academic circles has been a hot research topic in the theory of "standard","standard" refers to the basic unit of language structure,word standard theory advocates argue that Chinese characters is the structural unit of Chinese psychological reality,this view and emphasize the meaning and function of grammar "word standard" the theory of difference in foreign language teaching,what is the "word standard" theory as the core basis or in the "standard" theory as the core foundation has become the focus of academic debate.The author thinks that Chinese characters and words and their corresponding standard view are not completely antagonistic,and words and words are not separated,and there is a close relationship between the two.In the teaching of Chinese as a foreign language,the importance of Chinese characters is no less than that of grammar.If we only pay attention to the teaching of Chinese grammar and neglect the teaching of Chinese characters,we can not only improve the efficiency of vocabulary learning,but also hamper the deep learning of Chinese.Therefore,in the teaching of Chinese as a foreign language,it is necessary to strengthen the research on the application of the character standard.This paper combs and analyzes the theory and literature related to "word standard" and its related research in teaching Chinese as a foreign language,and expounds my own view and inspiration.This article is divided into the following parts:The first part is the introduction,which mainly introduces the background,purpose and significance of this study.The second part is about research materials and research methods.It mainly introduces the sources and approaches of materials collected in this paper,and makes corresponding statistical analysis.Meanwhile,it introduces the research methods adopted in this paper.The third part is the reason and character based theory research system,the main reasons of the word based theory from the academic background,Chinese characteristics,Chinese characters characteristics,from words,speech,reading,block,sentence as the basic structural unit of Chinese grammar,"word" and Chinese word formation,"word" and the basic structure of Chinese syntax is described in terms of word based theory research system.The fourth part is the specific content of teaching Chinese as a foreign language word based theory based on the research literatures mainly from the scholars of the word standard applied to foreign language teaching attitude and character standard applied to foreign language teaching content,word standard applied to foreign language teaching methods analysis and summary and induction.The main points are as follows: the first one is the application of the "character standard" theory in the teaching of Chinese as a foreign language.Some scholars hold the support attitude;some scholars hold the neutral attitude.The reason is that the "character standard" is necessary and feasible in the teaching of Chinese as a foreign language,and the reason for the neutral attitude is the reason.The "word standard" theory cannot solve all the problems in the study and practice of Chinese linguistics.The second one is the study of the specific content of the "character standard" theory in the teaching of Chinese as a foreign language.Scholars have proposed that the content of "word standard" applied to teaching Chinese as a foreign language mainly includes the teaching of sound,the font,the words,sentences,and culture.The third one is the application of the "character standard" theory in the teaching of Chinese as a foreign language,the main existence of the "character standard" theory in the teaching of Chinese as a foreign language has not accurately recognized the characteristics of the "word" itself,ignored the factors of the word formation and the relationship between words and words,and did not reflect the relationship between Chinese characters and Chinese sentences.In order to improve the quality of teaching Chinese as a foreign language,we should take proper measures to improve the teaching of "word",the principle of Chinese teaching diversification and the desalination of the concept of grammar.Finally,for the conclusion and deficiency,the paper summarizes the literature conclusion,and expounds the author's view and inspiration,and introduces the shortcomings of this research.
