With the development of China's economic development,Chinese is becoming more and more popular in the world,increasing number of foreigners would like to join the study of Chinese boom,which means that teaching Chinese as a foreign language will face more new challenges.With the advancement of teaching Chinese as a foreign language,many problems have become increasingly prominent.This article mainly discusses two issues: First,the English translation of new words in text books;Second,the teaching of synonyms.We all know that vocabulary is the language of the building materials,such as building a brick house,no "brick" no sentence.Therefore,in the current teaching of Chinese as a foreign language,especially in the teaching of the new words,most of the books in order to facilitate foreign students to understand,they translated the new words in text book into the current wide range using language-English.This is very helpful for foreign students whose mother tongue is English or has a certain English knowledge.However,since the translator does not understand the meaning of certain English translations and the culture of Western countries to some extent,some translations appear to be correct at the time of translation,but there are great loopholes.For example,the translation words can not reflect the cultural connotations,they also can not reflect the lyricist language;the meaning of the translated words is larger than the new words in the text books,and so on.The book is the main basis for students to learn Chinese,the preparation of good or bad directly affect the students' learning situation,this issue must be taken seriously.This article first discusses the problem of English translation of new words,respectively,from the semantics,grammar,pragmatic three aspects of discussion,and these problems were analyzed error,summed up the English annotation causes the problem,the author gave the last English translation of the recommendations of the Notes,to the future preparation of teaching materials to provide some reference.Then This article discusses the teaching method of synonyms.When the author collects the information,it is found that the English translation problem is ubiquitous.However,the translation of the synonyms in the English translation problem is especially prominent.The translation of the most recent synonyms is very vague,which makes the students very easy to make mistakes.Therefore,This paper summarizes the existing problems in the teaching of synonyms in teaching Chinese as a foreign language,and provides some solutions to the problem,hoping to have some reference value for later synonymy teaching.
