Study On The Government Functions In The Cultural Protection And Inheritance Of The Baofeng Majie Folk Art Fair

General Secretary Xi Jinping pointed out in the report of the Nineteenth National Congress of the Communist Party of China that we should strengthen the protection and utilization of cultural relics and the inheritance of cultural heritage,dig deeply into the ideological concepts,humanistic spirit and moral norms contained in the excellent traditional Chinese culture,inherit and innovate according to the requirements of the times,and let Chinese culture show its permanent charm and style of the times.However,under the background of the trend of globalization,the cultural ecology of our country is suffering unprecedented impact.Many excellent cultural heritage,especially intangible cultural heritage with oral instruction and traditional handicraft as the main way of inheritance,are on the verge of extinction.Many precious historical relics and materials are facing the risk of being destroyed or lost.Therefore,it is urgent to strengthen the protection of intangible cultural heritage.As a national intangible cultural heritage,the Majie Folk Art Fair has a history of more than 700 years.Although the Baofeng County government has made some achievements in protecting it with the development of the times,the inheritance and protection of the Majie Folk Art Fair are still facing a severe test,and there are many problems to be solved.Therefore,this paper studies the problems existing in Baofeng County government protecting the Majie Folk Art Fair,and finds that the main problems are insufficient publicity,insufficient investment in funds,insufficient attention and single management model,etc.,analyzes them through literature research and questionnaire survey,and puts forward new countermeasures.The new countermeasures point out that the Baofeng County government should make long-term plans to protect the Majie Folk Art Fair,improve the protection mechanism,and innovate the management mode.Only in this way can we maintain the vitality of the Majie Folk Art Fair and make it become a grand event that never ends.
