The Discoveries And Preliminary Studies Of Bronze Ware Of Ba People In Three Gorges Region

The Three Gorges area is the connecting zone between the Jianghan Plain and the Chengdu Plain.With the development of the Three Gorges Project in the 1990 s,many cultural relics of the Ba people were discovered in the Three Gorges area,and a large number of distinctive bronze wares of the Ba people were unearthed.This paper starts with the published information on the bronzes of the Ba people,and analyzes the specific shape and combination of the materials on the basis of unearthing the bronzes of the Ba people.The content of the article is divided into the following five chapters.The first chapter is the introduction.The time range of this paper is from the Shang Dynasty to the early Western Han Dynasty.List the various areas and counties in the Three Gorges area,and determine the study objects for the tombs,ruins and bronzes unearthed in the shoal,and sort out the brief history and current situation of the study of the bronzes of the Ba people.On this basis,the purpose of this paper is to understand the development and evolution of the bronzes of the Ba people,and to enumerate the specific problems in the research.The second chapter is a summary of the archaeological discoveries of the bronzes of the Ba people in the Three Gorges area.According to the division of the eastern part of the Three Gorges and the western region,the discovery of the bronzes of the Ba people in the districts of Changyang,Zigui,Fengjie and Yunyang was introduced in detail.The third chapter is about the shape analysis and roughly time division of the bronzes of the Ba people.For container,weapon of sword,lance,dagger axe,tomahawk,arrow,tool axe,pound,knife,fish hook,musical instrument chime,bell,hook,seals,etc.have been analyzed in detail,and the age of the Ba people's bronzes is divided into four phases according to the shape of the object.The fourth chapter is the preliminary study of the bronzes of the Ba people.It mainly discusses the changes in the types of artifacts of the bronzes.Bronze tool cutting,weapon swords,etc.began to appear in the Shang Dynasty.Then the variety of objectsbecame more and more abundant,reaching its peak during the Warring States Period.The bronze combination is based on weapons and can be divided into four types according to the combination.Regarding the source of raw materials for the bronzes of the Ba people,it is believed that there are three sources of access.By combing the discovery of the stone casting tool in the Three Gorges area,it is believed that there are cast copper workshops in the Three Gorges area,and the Ba people may have mastered the bronze casting technology.The fifth chapter is the conclusion,summarizes the main gains of the above research.The focus of the article is to analyze the shape characteristics of the bronze wares of the Ba people,and select the important sites of the bronze wares of the Ba people in the Three Gorges area as the basic data source.The description and age judgment of the objects mainly follow the excavator's point of view.In the analysis of the shape,the classification is mainly based on the salient features of the objects.
