With the deepening of the friendly and cooperative relations between China and Mongolia, the exchanges between the two sides in higher education are also increasing. In recent years, the number of Mongolian students coming to China has increased. At the same time,in Mongolia, there are also many Mongolians who are learning Chinese.Different language learning environments will inevitably have different effects on learning outcomes. This paper attempts to start from the perspective of extracurricular language contact, and use the relevant knowledge of demography to explore the influence of language environment, including the individual background differences of learners, the willingness to communicate and the motivation of learning. The factors of Chinese contact are intended to provide some practical references for Chinese learners and teachers in Mongolia. This paper explores the differences in the effects of Chinese learners'extracurricular Chinese contact and their influencing factors in different language environments in China and Mongolia through questionnaires and personal interviews.Through investigation and analysis, this paper attempts to answer the following two questions:First,is the Chinese language learner's extracurricular language contact in the target language environment more than the learner in the non-target environment?Second,in addition to differences in language environment, demographic factors such as gender and age,and whether individual willingness to communicate and motivation of learning have an impact on the learner's willingness and effect of extracurricular Chinese contact. If there is such an influence,is it statistical?Significant differences in meaning? The results of the study showed that most of the participants did not have regular extracurricular language contact activities.Although they felt that they should actively communicate in Chinese outside the classroom, they did not actively do so in actual actions. For those who have extracurricular Chinese language contact activities, the learner's extracurricular contacts in the target language environment are mostly Chinese or foreign friends, while for non-subjective environment learners, extracurricular The subjects of contact are mainly Chinese teachers. In terms of media contact,WeChat has been loved by Mongolian Chinese learners as a social tool for popular Chinese in recent years. In terms of factors affecting extracurricular language contact, this paper mainly analyzes from three aspects. The results are as follows:1.In terms of individual background differences, the older the person, the higher the frequency of extracurricular contact, the gender,Chinese learning time The personality and Chinese proficiency have no significant influence on extracurricular language contact. However,in the academic qualifications,we found that graduate students have the most positive attitude towards language contact outside the classroom, and also have statistical significance in this dimension.2.As far as the influence of language learning environment on extracurricular language contact is concerned, the frequency of extracurricular language contact in the target language environment is significantly higher than that in non-target language environment.3.In terms of the influence of communication willingness and learning motivation on extracurricular language contact, the willingness to communicate has a significant influence on the frequency of extracurricular language contact and the attitude of extracurricular language contact. The higher the motivation for learning, the higher the anxiety of extracurricular language contact, and there are significant differences in this dimension.
