| In today's era of diversified forms of entertainment,opera as a traditional way of entertainment,which has gradually reduced its share of the entertainment market.As a carrier of traditional opera performances,the troupe has been constantly challenged.Under the circumstances of the depression of modern drama,the private troupes are troubled by the problems such as the unsound system,the loss of talents,the decrease of the audience and the slow development.Lu Troupe of Donghai Country was established in 1960 and suffered the hard times of the Cultural Revolution.However,the troupe has been actively developing itself after the reform and opening up and has achieved a lot of brilliant achievements.Under the current situation in which the troupe is facing a crisis of survival,the Lu Troupe is still actively facing,carrying out reforms and developments according to its own conditions,and has emerged as a unique and innovative way of carrying forward the Lu Opera of Donghai.In particular,since the 1990 s,Lu Troupe of Donghai has created and rehearsed modern operas "Spring Hits Sixty-Nine" and "May 9 to See Liu","Strawberry Deduction","Red Ribbon","A Touch of the Sun","Mountain Nostalgia" and other repertoire,in accordance with the principles of creating plays,creating new products,and revitalizing Lu opera.They obtained the “Five-One Project Award” for the provinces and cities,the “Chinese Drama Award for Excellent Drama Awards”for the fourth,the Golden Eagle Award for the Chinese TV Drama,and the seventh Jiangsu Drama Award.Many awards and approvals from the masses have won the Lu Opera of Donghai a brilliant period and it also made outstanding contributions to the culture of Lu Opera.The reason why the Lu Troupe of Donghai has survived in the fierce performance market was that,in addition to the support of the government,it also had a certain relationship with the profound cultural environment of Donghai County.The development of Lu Troupe of Donghai is worth learning,but it also exposed some problems in the progress of contemporary troupes.For instance,the older generation of actors have retired and died,and it is difficult for new generation of actors to maintain their livelihoods and perform.We can not ignore the fact that there are a lack of writers,composers or director with talents.All these issues require the joint efforts of troupes and the governmentto vigorously cultivate professional talents,standardize and purify existing performance markets,and maintain the true character of opera.At the same time,we should strengthen the construction of the repertory and take a positive attitude to complete the protection for the inheritance and development of the "intangible heritage" of drama.This article takes Lu Troupe of Donghai as a case study,and on the basis of on-site investigations of the troupe,it seeks to explore the reasons for the successful development of Lu Troupe by the analysis of individual cases.It intends to make more such county troupes out and explore the suitable path for their own development in the market.The author also hopes to contribute to the inheritance and development of culture of Lu Opera in Donghai through the investigation and research. |
