The Chinese version of “The Cat Who Wished to Be a Man” is a family musical produced by Beijing four Seasons singing copyright Agency and Shenzhen Xiaolangbao Cultural Communication.The play was on the stage in China in 1996.After 20 years,The cat who wants to be a human comes back to China again,As soon as it was launched,the target for 100 tournaments was set,It also attracted Sun Honglei,Yang Lan,Shi Hang,Liu Ye,many popular stars for its platform.The play performed well in the fierce market competition.Not only completed 100 tours,The cat who wants to be a human being stands out and won three "flyover awards",such as excellent repertoire,outstanding acting and best production in the third Flyover Beijing Flyover Musical production season,outstanding encirclement,won Excellent repertoire award,outstanding performance award and best production award three "flyover awards".100 tours,also pushed forward the organizers of the small Orange Castle expansion pace,the second and third-tier cities in the tour to achieve deep coverage.The play's repertoire selection,marketing planning,capital and team structure,and operation model reflect the characteristics of the commercialized operation of musicals in China.This article through the communication,marketing,marketing and other disciplines of theoretical knowledge,in-depth corporate internship and other theoretical and practical combination of the way,This paper analyzes the key points in the operation of musicals and probes into the background,marketing and market of the Chinese version of the musical "Cat who wants to be a Man".Field expansion,capital and team architecture,operational problems and solutions.Through analyzing and summarizing the experience and deficiency in operation,this paper provides reference and reference for the operation of similar musicals.
