Discussion On Related Problems Of Pottery Production In Xinzhai Period Of Huadizui Site

"Xinzhai period" is an important period in the Central Plains,which is closely related to Longshan culture and Erlitou culture in the Central Plains.Previous studies only focused on the spatial distribution of its settlements,social living environment.cultural attribution,origin and nature,the typical site of Xinzhai period pottery comprehensive research is less,lack of ceramic production related issues.Therefore,on the basis of drawing lessons from the previous research results and using the means of chemical archaeology,this paper selects theXinzhai period pottery unearthed from Huadizui site,the first relic of Xinzhai period discovered north of Songshan Mountain.Through a series of scientific and technological analysis of pottery,participate in the discussion of the connection between Longshan culture and Xia culture in the Central Plains,study the relationship between Huadizui site and Xinzhai site and other surrounding sites in Xinzhai period,and then participate in the discussion of the relationship between different ethnic groups in the early Xia culture.This paper is divided into seven parts.The first part:introduction.The main content is the review of Xinzhai period and pottery research history,secondly,it introduces the research ideas and methods of this paper.The second part:the general situation of Huadizui site.This paper mainly introduces the natural geographical environment of Huadizui site and the excavation results over the years,and gives a brief description of the materials used in this paper.The third part:pottery technology.Firstly,from the point of view of pottery production process,such as pottery tools,preparation of mud,molding method,billet and decoration,ceramic kiln structure and firing,this paper summarizes the pottery production technology of Huadizui site in Xinzhai period.Then select deep abdominal tank,single ear cup,folding wall cover,urn and other typical utensils for observation and analysis.This paper holds that the rotation of pottery in Xinzhai period of Huadizui site is a large number,followed by a hand system,and the decorative style of the instrument table is relatively simple and multi-plain surface.Most of the decorative types are square pattern,basket pattern,rope pattern and additional stacking pattern.By observing the shape of the intact device and fragments,we also found that it may contain the influencing factors of Longshan culture from Northwest China and Haidai area.The fourth part:pottery firing technology.Firstly,the research method of ceramic firing temperature is introduced,combined with the advanced research results abroad,we try to use infrared spectroscopy to judge the change of the internal structure of ceramic sheet according to the shift of peak value in the spectrum.So as to make a reasonable determination of the firing temperature of pottery,which is also a major Innovation and bright spot of this paper.Next,we use the method of infrared spectrum to discuss the firing temperature of Xinzhai period pottery in Huadizui site.the research shows that the firing temperature of Huadizui Xinzhai period pottery is basically in the range of 850?900 ?,and some high-specification ritual vessels,such as pottery Gu,etc.The firing temperature can reach about 950 ?.The fifth part:argillaceous pottery and XRF analysis.95 pieces of argillaceous pottery were selected for XRF experiment,firstly,multivariate statistical analysis was carried out on the experimental data,including cluster analysis,principal component analysis and discriminant analysis,then,molar ratio mapping and chemical element analysis were used.The statistical results were verified.The results of statistical analysis show that the pottery of Xinzhai period in Huadizui site can be divided into three categories,which is basically consistent with the cultural factors reflected in the pottery type.This indicates that Xinzhai pottery of Huadizui site may not be produced in one place.The sixth part:sand pottery and lithofacies analysis.Firstly,the unearthed background of sand pottery is briefly analyzed,and then the typical utensils of Xinzhai period,such as tripod,pot and other Huadizui sites,are selected for lithofacies analysis.The results show that there are different sources of pottery in Xinzhai period.The seventh part:conclusion.This paper briefly reviews the main points of view of this paper,and points out the problems existing in this paper.
