First,this report sums up the features of the HRM text in Chinese and English by analyzing the source text and identified the source text as an informative text with expressive function based on the Text Analysis Theory.Its translation focuses on expressing all the information of the source and making it clear,except the information with expressive function which may be regarded as a figure of speech.Sometimes we should keep the original speech of expressive sentences,but not make it all clear.Having confirmed the text type,the report analyzes the cases of using some translation techniques in detail,such as amplification,omission,explanation and revision of word order,compared with the ones without using the techniques.The report proves that translating flexibly in the phase of reverbalization,guided by the theory,is of great importance.This report explores the HRM texts' translation strategies by translating the part of the book and argues that deciding the translation strategies by the type of the text is feasible with great research value and popularization value.Text Analysis Theory provides translation strategies for translation's readers,systemizing the translation process and realizing language's functionality.The author wishes to enrich the knowledge and enhance the ability to explore and solves problems in the practice as well as contribute to the introduction of the foreign HRM works.
