With the continuous development of English subject education in China,primary school English education needs to face many new problems.How to improve the effect of education and the self-learning ability of primary school students is an important problem to be dealt with in primary school English teaching.Under the condition of core literacy,early warning has already become the key way of English education.The basic goal of context design is to improve students' self-learning ability,stimulate students' interest in learning,let students feel language in simulated context,flexibly use language,feel the interest of English learning,and enhance students' language application strength.The author introduces the process and purpose of its formation of the topic selection from the aspects of improving students' core competence,improving the requirements of English curriculum standards and the new trend of English curriculum reform.After sorting out and analyzing the research status of context design at home and abroad,this article defines the concept of "context design under the influence of core competence in English".This article introduces the theoretical basis of context teaching of students from four aspects: Contextual Education,Construction Theory and Gestalt Theory and cognitive development characteristics of primary school students.The author also conducted a questionnaire survey on the context design under the influence of core competence in English among 1950 students and 81 teachers of 10 Shanghai public primary schools,which provided practical basis for the exploration of teaching practice.Based on theory and practice,this study establishes corresponding teaching implementation strategies and obtains enlightenment: context design under the influence of core competence in English is conducive to optimizing the efficiency of English classroom teaching,improving teachers' teaching integration ability,strengthen the students' experience effect in the classroom process,and improve the students' language application strength.Following the principle of combining the way of integrating practice and theory,this paper discusses many ways and means for the context design of primary school English classroom under the influence of core competence in English by means of questionnaire survey,teaching case study and theoretical analysis.I sincerely hope that this article can give the majority of primary school English teachers some enlighten.
