In recent years,with the rapid growth of China's economy and the gradual improvement of the national cultural soft power,sinology has been gradually coming into public view,more and more people has been reviewing the classics,waves of learning sinology swept across the country.The National Ministry of Education also strongly advocate the traditional culture education in primary and secondary schools,primary and secondary schools across the country have called for Sinology lessons or carried out education related to Sinology.It has been 5 years since the documents issued from The National Ministry of Education.Then,the present situation of sinology education in primary schools is worth our attention.This paper has been taken Y city primary school as an example,which adopted the method of literature review,questionnaire,interview and field observation,selected 7 primary schools in Y,issued 60 questionnaires to teachers(took back 55 valid questionnaires).Interviewed 16 leaders and teachers(1 education department leader,4 school leaders and 11front-line teachers).It mainly investigated on 6 aspects from the forms,contents,methods,the construction of teachers,evaluation standard and the attitude from educational administration,students,teachers and parents.Through investigation and research,it is found that there are some excellent experience in primary school sinology education in Y city,which is worth summarizing and refining.However,there are also some problems,such as the imperfect form of sinology education.,most schools are in the form of community activities,which lack of sense of curriculum.The contents of sinology education are not rich enough.The methods are simple and mainly focused on reading.The textbooks are not systematic and complete.The team of teachers is not strong enough and lack of professional sinology teachers.Teacher training mechanism is not perfect.Lack of targeted evaluation system.Insufficient fund guarantee.some parents' understanding of the purpose of sinology education is still biased.There are many aspects for the problems,such as the lack of substantial support from educational management department,the insufficient understandings of the importance,urgency and necessity of sinology education from schools,the marginal status of sinology education,and the limited development of sinology education cause of the level of teachers.For the long-term development of sinology education in primary schools,there are many things to do,such as pay more attentions to sense of curriculum and develop sinology education in various forms.Constantly enrich and improve the contents of sinology education.Innovate more methods of teaching.Compile textbooks of sinology with local characteristics.Strengthen the training of teachers,pay attention to the improvement of learning,enrich and build a strong team of sinology teachers;The education management department increase the support for sinology education on fund and adequate protection,the development of ascientific and reasonable evaluation system;Schools take sinology education seriously;Parents correct understanding of the purpose of sinology education,to give more participation and more cooperation.
