Wood Engraving Paintings In The Context Of Southern Anhui Folk Culture

The Northern Wan Woodcut New Year Picture is an extremely important intangible cultural heritage in China.It is deeply influenced by the special folk culture environment in the northern part of the country,forming a style,skill and posting custom with strong regional characteristics.Herefore,to explore the cultural and artistic value of the Northern Wan New Year's wooden paintings,we must not isolate it from the civil life environment,but we should study it in a dynamic and universal connection.This paper attempts to explore the connection between the New Year paintings of WanBei and folk culture and folk art from the perspective of the intersection of folklore and art.Through these folk appearances,it explores the implicit cultural significance behind it.In addition to the introduction and conclusion,the article framework is divided into six chapters.The first chapter describes the historical origins and main producing areas of the birth and development of the New Year paintings.The second chapter starts from the two aspects of content,subject matter,genre and function.The third chapter studies the rituals and the important role played by the Northern Wan New Year pictures as the traditional expressions and carriers.The fourth chapter compares the inheritance relationship between the New Year pictures of Wanbei and other types of folk art in northern Wan.The fifth chapter summarizes the craftsmanship and artistic features of the New Year's paintings.The inheritance of the New Year's woodcut paintings in the North is currently only in the initial stage of reprinting the old version and imitating the style of other Chinese paintings.Studying the relationship between the New Year's paintings in northern WanBei and the folk environment in northern WanBei is helpful to explore the development path of the traditional woodcut New Year pictures in northern WanBei and the modern social folklore,to better reflect the national spirit and shape the national identity.
