A Report Of Whispering Interpretation On Zhengding Expo

This whispering interpreting report is based on the practical experience on the opening ceremony of the 11 th Zhengding Expo.From April 26 to 28,2018,the 11 th Zhengding Expo was held in Shijiazhuang,Hebei Province.The author received an task,which is to interpret for the mayor of Lauenburg and his delegation at this year's expo.And the author did a whispering interpreting for the assistant of the mayor---Mr.Maxihirche,which was aimed at conveying the significance,key content and purpose of the expo.After that,the author transcribed the recording of the practice and profoundly summarized the problems and solutions.This report is divided into four chapters: The first chapter gives an introduction to the interpretation task,which includes the background,meaning,participants and so on.The second chapter is the description of the process,which is mainly divided into the pre-interpretation preparation and the problems encountered in the interpretation.Chapter 3 is the key part of this report,which includes three parts and contains lots of examples.In the first part,the author analyzes the characteristic and difficulties of whispering interpreting.And the second part is about the theory and specific strategies applied.The third part is a summary.The fourth chapter gives a conclusion.And the author hopes that this report can provide some reference for her future work.
