A Report On The Consecutive Interpreting For The Sino-German Companies Project Matchmaking Fair

The author of this report focuses on a consecutive interpreting task of the Sino-German Enterprise Project Matchmaking Fair.Under the guidance of Relevance Theory,the author selects some typical cases and analyzes in detail how the author uses the theoretical knowledge she has mastered to guide the practice in the business interpreting.At the same time,the author summarizes the problems encountered in the practice of interpretation,and tries to find effective strategies to solve problems and provide reference for future interpreting task.This report is divided into four chapters.The first chapter refers to the description of the interpreting task.In this chapter,the author mainly introduces the background of the business negotiation interpreting,features of the task and the requirements of the clients.The second chapter is the description of the task process.The author summarizes three aspects of the interpreting task from pre-interpretation preparation,on-spot interpreting process and post-interpretation assessment.The third chapter is case study.Under the guidance of Relevance Theory,the author selects some typical cases from this interpreting practice,analyzes and summarizes the problems,which enriches the application of Relevance Theory in interpreting practice.The fourth chapter is the conclusion of this interpreting practice.The author summarizes and rethinks the problems encountered in interpreting,and then proposes the enlightenment and prospects for future interpreting work.
