Application And Research Of Dongba Cultural Elements In Graphic Design

The dongba culture,famous for its long history in dongba religion,is an important part of the naxi culture.The naxi is not a big nation among the numerous ethnic groups in China,but its dongba culture is well known at home and abroad,and has become the research object of Chinese and foreign scholars.The time-honored dongba culture is usually composed of dongba scriptures,dongba texts,dongba dances,dongba paintings,dongba songs,dongba instruments and various dongba sacrificial rituals.The naxi people are one of the unique ethnic groups in yunnan.Most of the naxi people live in lijiang city in northwest yunnan,and only a few people live in Tibet and other places.The unique geographical environment,the long-term migration experience of the naxi ancestors and the subtle influence of the original religion on the naxi people have gradually formed their unique outlook on life,aesthetics,morality,values and ideas,which laid the foundation for the formation of the unique dongba culture of the naxi people.Based on traditional national thinking and aesthetic ideas,this paper explores the application of dongba cultural elements in graphic design.The author thinks that want to study a traditional culture reflected in the design must be traced back to learn the history of the national cultural characteristics and affected by various factors and the formation of the thought idea and aesthetic idea,in this way can make design work is not just a thin embody national characteristic,but the massive national spirit with profound connotation as the design direction,design and application of national culture elements,finally to achieve the design work.By studying the nationalization of the traditional concept of thinking,to explore the cultural characteristics of dongba culture fields,summarizes the aesthetic ideas of the dongba culture and the unique aesthetic ideology in dongba literature,dongba mythology,dongba legends,dongba dance and dongba sculpture,dongba music,dongba apparel,dongba painting,and other areas of the various art forms,and then concludes the characteristic of dongba culture visual elements and its application in graphic design.
