In recent years,sense of humor has received more and more attention.It plays a huge role in the response to stress,the relief from interpersonal conflicts and the maintenance of mental health.This study believes that the sense of humor is an ability that individuals understand humor,appreciate and express humor.It is a continuum from low to high,weak to strong.Emotional intelligence is the individual's ability to perceive and understand the emotional information of oneself and others,and to process the emotional information to regulate their inner and outer behaviors.humor sense is a kind of psychological function and coping strategy,that plays a crucial role in the establishment and maintenance of individual interpersonal relationships,as well as the formation and development of individual personality.The paper is to revise Zhang Lingcong's humor level theory and to revise the multi-level humor sense scale for junior high school students,so that it can be used as an effective measurement tool for humor level.It will provide new ideas for junior high school students to establish good interpersonal communication and promote the benign development of individual psychology of junior high school students,by the study that whether the interpersonal ability of junior high school students is affected by the level of emotional intelligence and sense of humor.Questionnaires and interviews have been accomplished to select junior high school students from Fujian,Shandong,Hebei and other regions as the main research objects.Data processing and analysis were performed on the acquired using SPSS23 and AMOS23.This study firstly has rethought the structure of humorous hierarchy theory,and has modified the original theory according to relevant researches and documents,and has changed the "humorous expression" level in the original theory to "humorous imitation" to make its theory more rational.On the basis of the revised theory,the "Multi-level Humor Sense Scale for Junior Middle School Students" has been revised,the formal questionnaire was formed through open questionnaires,preliminary tests and re-tests.At the same time,the reliability and validity of the scales were tested to explore the dimension relationship to verify the theory of humor levels.500 individuals in junior high school in Dongshan County,Fujian Province were tested to test their reliability and validity.Then,using the scale test,the students of the junior high school in the three schools of Fujian,Shandong and Hebei provinces,the "multi-level humor sense scale for junior high school students",the "emotional intelligence scale for junior high school students" and "the amount ofinterpersonal skills of junior high school students".The table was tested and 488 valid questionnaires were collected.The structural equation model of the relationship between junior high school students' emotional intelligence,humor level and interpersonal skills was established and verified.This paper explores the correlation between emotional intelligence,humor level and interpersonal skills,and explores the mediating effect of humor between emotional intelligence and interpersonal skills.Finally,a humorous intervention course suitable for junior high school students was developed.A total of 48 junior high school students were intervened for 10 weeks to test and explore the impact of the course on junior high school individual humor level and interpersonal skills.The main conclusions of this study are as follows:(1)The revised version of “Multi-level Humor Scale for Junior Middle School Students” is more reliable and valid which can be used as an effective measurement tool for assessing the level of humor of junior high school students.(2)Junior high school students do not have sex differences on emotional intelligence,humor level,or interpersonal skills.(3)The emotional intelligence,the level of humor,and the ability of interpersonal skills of junior high school students are greatly affected by the two factors of urban and rural differences and whether they are only children.(4)There are two correlations between emotional intelligence,humor level and interpersonal skills,and there is a correlation between the three.(5)Emotional intelligence has a partial mediating effect on interpersonal skills through the level of humor.(6)The newly developed humorous intervention tutorial can improve the level of humor of junior high school students.
