| Guanzhong folklore is the root and an important part of Chinese civilization as the representative of Shaanxi culture.It is of great value to be transmitted to the outside of the world.However,the study on the translation and transmission of Guanzhong folklore has been limited both theoretically and practically due to regional characteristics and unique culture of Guanzhong folklore and it has been difficult to introduce Guanzhong folklore to China's international friends until now.It is found that the Translation and Transmission Model based on Lasswell's 5W Communication Model is more conducive to the translation and transmission of Guanzhong folk culture in the process of translation practice and the study on cultural translation and transmission.Therefore,based on Lasswell's 5W Model of Communication,a Translation & Transmission Model of Shaanxi Guanzhong folklore is proposed and designed from the perspectives of the translators,contents,media,audience and effect in this paper.It is hoped that the research will pave the way for the transmission of Guanzhong folklore worldwide.This study is valuable in designing a folklore translation and transmission model.It also offers guidelines for researchers who want to enrich their understanding of folklore translation and global transmission. |
