Study On Tan Yuese's Diversified Seal Carving Creation

TanYuese(1891-1976)was a famous female seal carver in modern China.The styles of her seals were distinct and diverse,and the Shoujinshu seals were the most distinctive.On the basis of previous studies and taking the history of seal carving in the Republic of China and LingNan regional culture as the background,this paper makes a comprehensive analysis of the characteristics of TanYuese's seal carving creation from the perspectives of seal forms,styles,seal characters and contents,using the methods of literature research,field investigation and comparative study.Through this research,it is found that the time and regional cultural environment,the influence of teacher-inheritance relationships and the lofty pursuit of art and the innovative spirit of seeking novelty and change are the objective and subjective reasons for her diversification of seal carving creation.In general,this paper is divided into three parts: study of TanYuese's life and historical and cultural background,analysis the diversified characteristics of seal carving creation,and the objective reasons for the diversification of her seals.In the structure of the paper,the logical relationship of raising,analyzing and solving questions is adopted,and the discussion is carried out in a progressive way from the surface to the inner layer.The first chapter is the introduction,which is the research basis of the diversified seal carving creation of TanYuese's.It is discussed from the research background,contents and methods.The second chapter mainly studies the background of TanYuese's seal carving creation.The third chapter separately analyse the seal carving works of TanYuese's from the aspects of seal forms,styles,inputting characters and contents,and studies the diversification characteristics of her seals.The fourth chapter mainly discusses the pursuit of seal carving art and the cultural connotation of TanYuese's,the inheritance,evaluation and influence of the her seal carving art,and analysis her subjective reasons to promote the diversification of seal carving creation.TanYuese's seal carving creation was influenced by the objective era environment and regional culture,and subjective seal carving creation ideas and methods,and the traditional cultural,and the styles of her works presents diversified artistic features.It is hoped that this study can provide practical value and academic value speculative resources for the theoretical research and creative practice of seal cutting.
