With the continuous advancement of English teaching reform,cultivating students' oral communication ability is an important topic at present.Junior Secondary Education is the key stage of language learning,but traditional dumb English and single teaching methods make many students lack of interests in oral English learning.the integration of information technology and educational resources has not only expanded new areas for the oral English teaching of English teachers,but also provided an effective platform and broad space for students' independent learning.Information technology,especially the integration of mobile Internet and online education resources,not only reforms English teaching methods,but also facilitates students' independent learning.At present,many educational Apps have appeared in the market to assist in English learning.The combination of Apps and English learning makes it worthwhile to study how do students accept,use,and learn it.Through the literature,questionnaires and interviews of the students and English teachers of The Experimental junior high school of Beijing University of Technology,The author investigated the current situation how they use Spoken English Learning Apps now and collected some feedback.Combining with Krashen's Theory of Second Language Learning and Piaget's Theory of Child and Adolescent Behavioral Cognitive Development,etc,the author started with the perspective of stimulating junior high school students' interest in learning spoken English,changing passive learning into active learning,linking classroom teaching with practice under the class,in order to develop students' bold habits and cultivate students' oral communicative ability.Based on the research,the autor put forward the function design and interface design strategies of junior English students' oral English App.The function of the App should be to improve the ease of operation.In the initial use,it is necessary to provide intuitive operation animation guidance.In terms of specific learning functions,teachers and students showed a strong demand for “English pronunciation correction”,and “spoken language exercises and games” also had higher demand.The App should also develop a practical learning plan for learners,enhance the systemic learning,pay attention to interests,make students happy to learn,and improve learning initiative.After further combining the preliminary conclusions with related research,the author completed the functional architecture design of Junior English Spoken English App.The function of the App is mainly composed of 7 modules,including: login module,personal center,learning channel,review module,level detection,examination test,and exchange feedback.On this basis,the corresponding interface effect design was completed and the design strategy description was performed.
