This translation report is based on the seventh,eighth,ninth chapter of Tourism and Innovation,which mainly discuss the growth prospects and problems of tourism firm.This book mainly discusses that tourism innovation as a new field will develop rapidly and become a research hotpot in recent years.As the existing research papers have less summary of the rhetorical translation approaches in the tourism academic text,it is of great significance for the author to choose this text for the translation report.Source text belongs to both informative and expressive text,and the academic viewpoint is abundant and full of a variety of rhetoric.How to present the original text style through the translation of rhetoric has become a difficulty in author's translation.In this report,the two typical problems,the translation of the rhetoric of structure and the rhetoric of meaning,are mainly discussed.For the translation of repetition and parallel structure,translation methods and skills include parallelism,transformation and four characters.For the translation of metaphor,personification,exaggeration and alliteration,translation methods adopted include literal translation,conversion of metaphor body,abandoning the metaphor body and metonymy.The above translation methods make the translation achieve the same rhetorical effect as the original text.The author finds that the translation of rhetoric should be combined with the differences in language and culture between English and Chinese to adopt flexible and comprehensive translation methods,hoping that this report will provide some reference for the relevant translation practice in the future.
