With the Belt and Road Initiative strengthening,Lanzhou,the exceedingly significant part lying in the centre line of the Silk Road,is gradually becoming the focus in the communication with the Central Asian countries.As one of the most effective Spoken Chinese textbooks used more than 10 years in the School of International Cultural Exchange,Developing Chinese Intermediate Speaking Course I(2nd Edition)has a lasting influence on the foreign students' education career in Lanzhou University,which is warmly welcomed by all the teachers and students.However,there is few survey of the foreign students' difficulties in learning Chinese words from the angle of the textbook.Based on the two-stage dynamic tracing and testing,37 Central Asian students easily make semantic,syntactic and pragmatic errors while constructing sentences with the words of the textbook.The SPSS 17.0 software verifies the practicality of the test,and obtains 40 hard words in learning Chinese vocabulary.This article consists of 5 chapters,which separately confirms the Central Asian students' difficulties in learning the nouns,verbs,adjectives,adverbs and the function words.Then it's analyzed that how the errors of words in using emerge and the causes why they occur.Additionally,some proposals of teaching are brought up.According to the survey,the Asian students most likely misuse the nouns as adjectives when making sentences with the nouns,thus the mismatch arises.While constructing sentences with the verbs,students misunderstand mostly the meaning of verbs.Students simply misapply the adjectives as verbs in making sentences,therefore theimproper collocation appears.Students falsely deposit the adverbial order in constructing sentences,and they easily make pragmatic errors while completing sentences with the function words.This survey is conducted to assist the teachers using the textbook to weigh the focal points in teaching,and proposes some practical suggestions of teaching to benefit the subsequent Chinese words teaching of the Central Asian students in Lanzhou University.
