The popularization and development of Internet technology have caused disruptive changes in the music industry's communication model,industrial structure,and service system.Technological upgrades and user needs have spawned the reconstruction of the industrial chain and promoted business model innovation.Digital music has become the main driving force for the development of China's music industry.Extracting the influence factors and development laws of the business model of digital music is the basis for reviewing the status and predicament of industrial development.The evolution of digital music and development trends are complementary to the research on industrial development.Discussing institutional design is more about the relationship between government and market research.The dual economic and social attributes of the musical work itself determine the particularity of digital music.The business model of digital music is changing,the distribution of interests involved is more complicated,and perfecting the construction of music copyright system has become an inevitable requirement to adapt to the rapid development of the industry.The experience of music industry development in various countries shows that a sound institutional system is the basis for the healthy operation of the market.In the rapid development of the Internet environment forbusiness model innovation,whether the political environment,economic environment or social environment require the participation of the government,enterprises and the public,enhance the understanding of the depth and breadth of digital music in social subjects,is conducive to the digital music industry Upgrade.The ownership of music copyright interest involves multiple parties in the industry chain.The pursuit of balanced management of personal interests and public interests in the music industry will play a catalytic role in improving the institutional protection mechanism of the music market.Only when the “rules” are formulated,can the legal rights of the industrial subjects be followed,and the industry can achieve healthy and orderly development.The highlight of this article is to use the theme of Novelty--Lock in--Com plementarities--Efficiency(NICE: novelty-locking effect-complementarity-efficienc y)proposed by scholars Christoph Zott and Raphael Amit.At the same time,b ased on scholars Emilien Moyon and Xavier Lecocq proposed the "Revenues-C osts-Organization-Value"(RCOV)business model analysis model,combined wit h China's digital music industry specific cases and data statistics,extracted the dynamic changes in the development of business models.Based on the practica l research on business model innovation,we pointed out the institutional proble ms faced in the innovation process and clearly pointed out that the system loo pholes have a direct impact on the development of the industry.In order to cr eate a favorable institutional environment,specific proposals such as establishin g a copyright service system,promoting institutional transformation,and makin g up for government vacancy are proposed.The article categorizes digital music research literature from the perspective of different disciplines,and divides the digital music research based on the dimensions of the basic elements of the business model,and then focuses on the analysis of the development law of the business model of digital music.Combined with the contents of copyright management,legal protection and government supervision,the role of associating government in the development of digital music lays a theoretical foundation for exploring the institutional safeguards of digital music business modelinnovation.The research is mainly divided into four chapters: Introduction and the contents of the first chapter,mainly aiming at the existing research results,development history and environmental analysis of China's digital music industry,so as to clarify the research direction of this article.The second chapter explores the development trend of the digital music market by studying the digital music business model,influencing factors and innovation paths.The third chapter is based on the study of the development process of business model,and reflects on the problems existing in the process of business model innovation based on institutional perspective.The fourth chapter focuses on the problems faced by the business model innovation and proposes system protection recommendations.
