Since the introduction of sports dance in China in the 1980 s,Shenzhen,as the earliest group of cities to introduce sports dance,has a leading position.With the rapid development of time,it has gradually become popular in various cities.Sports dance includes Latin dance and modern dance.Latin dance is a kind of dance that can be learned by both singles and couples.It is more interesting and diverse in action.Therefore,it is especially loved by children.Childhood is the main stage of children's physical and mental health and personality formation.Learning Latin dance in childhood has a good positive impact on their life and learning Latin.The number of children dancing is still increasing.As the main force of learning Latin dance,children will play an important role in the future development of Latin dance industry in China.In the course of the continuous development and standardization of Latin dance industry,the core and key point of whether children can learn Latin dance well lies in the direct contact teaching.It is of great significance to study and discuss the teaching situation of Shenzhen's Latin dance training institutions for children,to better carry out Latin dance teaching for children and to improve the teaching quality.Shenzhen,as the frontier of sports dance development,is the frontier.Children can stand out in various Latin dance competitions and get excellent results is inseparable from good teaching,which also provides a theoretical reference for sports dance in other provinces.This paper takes the teaching situation of Shenzhen Children Latin Dance Training Institutions as the research object,investigates and analyses eight representative private children Latin Dance Institutions(Hong Kong Dragon,Junyi,Junyi Plastic,Excellence,Four Seasons,etc.)in Shenzhen,and adopts the methods of documentation,field investigation,questionnaire survey,expert interview and logical analysis to study Shenzhen Children Latin Dance Training.The current teaching situation,advantages and disadvantages of training institutions were investigated and analyzed,and corresponding optimization strategies were put forward.The conclusions and suggestions are as follows:(1)In Shenzhen Children Latin Dance Training Institutions,the group of teachers is relatively young,mainly in the 18-25 age group.will be more receptive to new things,and at least once a year to participate in teacher training,which is conducive to promoting the development of Latin dance for children in Shenzhen.Teachers' educational level is mainly college and undergraduate,accounting for 50%and 37.5% respectively.Teachers' grade situation mainly concentrates on national A,B and first level.Teachers' judgment level mainly concentrates on international,national and first level,and most of them are full-time teachers,accounting for58.3%.This makes Shenzhen children Latin dance teachers fluidity moderate,more comprehensive and stable teachers.(2)The age of children who learn Latin dancing is mainly between 7 and 13 years old,with 38% boys and 62% girls.Obviously,there are more girls than boys.However,the survey found that most children learn Latin dance because of their hobbies,accounting for 63.8% of the total number of respondents,which to some extent promoted the development of Latin dance,but also found that Latin dance in Shenzhen is more popular.(3)According to the survey results of the teaching status quo of eight Latin dance training institutions for children in Shenzhen,in the form of teaching organization,classes are mainly taught in different classes,while group classes are supplemented by group classes.Among them,100% of the teachers' associations set the teaching objectives for the school year and set corresponding teaching objectives for different classes;in terms of teaching content,there is a lack of systematic and comprehensive professional teaching materials.The depth and breadth of some textbooks,especially those related to children's Latin dance techniques,are insufficient.Teachers mainly use basic technical movements,grade examinations and competitive performances as the main teaching contents,accounting for 100% of the total number of surveys.There are relatively few exercises in body posture,basic training and combination,and fewer exercises in elementary and intermediate classes with comprehensive qualities.The trend of diversification is mainly based on repetition,decomposition,tie and corrective exercises,accounting for 100% of the total number of surveys.Few teachers will use modern teaching tools,such as multimedia,video,etc.The reason may be limited by the conditions of institutions,on the other hand,teachers' lack of understanding of this aspect and diversified teaching methods,which to some extent will also affect the development of children's Latin dance;in terms of teaching environment,the hardware facilities and software configuration of Shenzhen children's Latin dance institutions can basically meet the daily teaching work.In terms of hardware,the proportion of standard venues is not much,there are institutions using non-standard venues,and there is no designated physical training room.In terms of software,the teaching objectives and implementation are better,and the results of competitive performance and grade examination are better.Teachers' evaluation is the main method.(4)In view of the problems existing in the teaching of Latin dance training institutions for children in Shenzhen,this paper proposes to strengthen the cultivation of teachers' comprehensive abilities,renew traditional ideas,enlarge the enrollment of male schools,increase the research on the teaching theory of Latin dance for children,increase the proportion of comprehensive qualities of primary and intermediate classes,and increase the proportion of basic training,body posture training and combination exercises in the teaching content.To teach children in accordance with their aptitude with teaching methods suitable for their physical and mental characteristics,we should focus on cultivating interest in learning and teaching step by step.According to the problems existing in the current teaching situation of Latin dance training institutions for children in Shenzhen,the following suggestions are put forward:(1)The research and development of theoretical research and teaching materials for children's Latin dance teaching needs a certain time.It needs to further integrate resources and concentrate on compiling teaching materials for children's Latin dance teaching to meet the actual teaching needs of teachers and students.Institutions and teachers should proceed from children's reality and focus on the basic situation of children scientifically and rationally.Establish technical teaching objectives.(2)In terms of teaching content,we should consider how many teaching contents of children's comprehensive qualities should be added.We should not concentrate on the content of competitive performances and grade examinations.We should start from the actual situation of children's abilities and growth,pay attention to children's interest,follow the objective law of teaching activities,pay attention to the systematicness and correlation between various parts of the curriculum,and constantly draw lessons from China.Foreign advanced teaching concepts and techniques to achieve the best teaching effect.(3)In terms of teaching environment and teachers,we should strengthen the supervision of relevant departments and sports and dance federations,carry out teaching environment inspection from time to time,and require training institutions to increase investment in various facilities of the venue,so as to create better conditions for venues and facilities.As for teachers,we should strengthen and improve the examination of teachers' qualifications,organize regular training for front-line dance teachers,establish a good teacher assessment system,carry out evaluation,and combine the evaluation results with teacher qualification certification.
