This thesis is a teaching research on the cultivation of university students' aesthetic accomplishments in the teaching of the art appreciation public courses of Guangxi Normal University.It aims to guide students to learn art knowledge independently,understand various art phenomena,art activities,cultivate critical thinking,and achieve the purpose of improving university students' aesthetic accomplishments.The researcher conducted a specific investigation on the current situation of teaching contents,teaching methods and assessment methods in the art appreciation teaching publicity course,and went on teaching practice in Guangxi Normal University to find out the reasons why don't adapt to the development of students.What's more,to analyze the reasons and then find the methods which can solve the problems strenuously and pertinently,construct the effective teaching strategies to undertake the teaching,strive hard to prefect the university art appreciation curriculum through the combination on of the learning on the teaching theory with practical experience and achieve the purpose of the research effectively.The thesis is composed of four parts:The first part: firstly,the author undertakes the definition on the core vocabulary of the research“aesthetic accomplishments”,and explores the connotation of art appreciation.Secondly,the author discusses the teaching objectives of the art appreciation public elective courses and the significance of cultivating aesthetic accomplishments.It purifies the minds of contemporary university students and cultivates their emotions in an invisible way,broadening the horizons of university students to see themselves and the world.Finally,this chapter also makes a brief analysis of the theoretical basis of art appreciation public elective courses to cultivate the aesthetic accomplishments of universities students from the two aspects of educational psychology and post-modern curriculum theory and combine the “student-oriented”constructivism learning theory and post-modern curriculum views which advocate constructing the knowledge proactively and boast the flexibility and openness to enhance the aesthetic accomplishments of non-art majors students.The second part: the author deeply understands the present situation and existing problems of the university to launch the art education and undertake the concrete analysis to provide assistance for better perfecting the teaching work of art appreciation public selective courses through the methods such as the questionnaires,teacher interviews,classroom practices and so on.The third part: According to the investigation and analysis of the current situation of university art appreciation public elective courses,this part explores the curriculum teaching strategies from the perspective of aesthetic accomplishments.Firstly,the part undertakes the effective screening on the teaching resources based on the present levels and the acceptability of recognition of university students.In order to broaden the horizons of students and enhance the humanistic accomplishment,it is proposed that the curriculum resources have a wide range of disciplines and positive value-oriented strategies.Secondly,based on the concept of post-modern curriculum and the development of disciplinary boundaries,a diversified appreciation method is proposed.Finally,this part puts forward a combination of “online” and “offline” teaching methods and establishes an assessment method that combines the language and the media practice with the students' current level.The fourth part: this part verifies the author's research through teaching practice,that is,to appreciate the works of art from multiple perspectives in the process of group cooperation and exploration,to appreciate the inner beauty of art works,to sublimate from perceptual knowledge to rational understanding,to enhance the aesthetic accomplishments of university students,realize the construction of society and inspire the cognitive internal driving forces through understanding.
