A Research On The Adze-shaped Stoneware From Burials Of Mopanshan Site

Adze-shaped stoneware generally appear in neolithic sites of the south of China.its usage and function has been very important to understand the social life at that time.The Mopanshan site is one of the prehistoric sites which has found more abundant remains and relics in the southeast of anhui province.The study of cultural relics of the site is of great significance to fill the gaps in archaeological work in the region.According to the excavation horizon information and the funerary objects,one of the tombs excavated in the first period belongs to the early stage of Songze-the early cultural stage of Liangzhu.The study of the adze-shaped stoneware excavated by these tombs will help us to understand the way in which people live and produce.This paper chooses these adze-shaped stoneware unearthed in the tombs as the research object.Firstly,a visual inspection of these stone implements is conducted to survey and map according to the original size.Then,on the basis of determining the names of the details,calculate the values of the aspect ratio and the aspect ratio,according to these numbers,the subjects were grouped into four categories.At the same time,the angle of the blade was measured and the section morphology was provided for auxiliary reference,and by observing the different parts of the damage or wear phenomenon to help speculate the use of purpose.However,due to the lack of samples,it is not certain that the relationship between the morning and evening changes will be determined,which is also a serious problem in this article.Combined with ethnographic materials,pottery symbols and some materials of other sites,on the basis of previous studies,this paper discusses the use of adze-shaped stoneware.These stone can be used with handle or can be used directly,Combining the relationship of the location about adze-shaped stoneware and handle,and the relationship can be divided into three kinds,one like the form of 'T',one like the form of'L',and another like the form of '-'.At the same time 'L' type can be divided into 'La' and 'Lb'.The four types of adze-shaped stoneware and five kinds of use,according to probability theory,there are 20 kinds of use may be made,There is a multi-purpose phenomenon,but there are differences between the main function and derivative function,there is so difficult that to distinguish the main functions and derivative functions.So in the process of speculation to learn some of the pre-Qin literature.The tomb belongs to the deceased and also belongs to the living.The number and connotation of the funerary objects not only include the personal feelings of the deceased,but also the living standard of the deceased and the living and the social habit.It is generally believed that the tombs which contained spinning rounds are female tombs,On this basis,we found that the spinning rounds and stone shovel is not coexistence phenomenon,According to this phenomenon,we think that the adze-shaped stoneware is a gender sharing tool,at the same time there may be division of labor phenomenon.
