As Jean Renoir once said:A director takes only one film in his life.Compared with other directors Yoshimitsu Morita is a unique presence.In more than 40 years of film director career,he shot three short films and more than 20 long films from 1971 to 2011.His film have different themes and variety of styles,such as art film commercial film horror film and literary film.He was famous for "family games" in 1983.People think that he was a himLe cinema d’auteur,than the next year he published the"popular director declaration"and devote all his life to making Experimental entertainment moive.The commercial film is flat,his avant-garde film "spring love letter"get greatly praise.The next year he make the popular moive "lost paradise",Yoshimitsu Morita did not indulge in the success of commercial films,he began to explore the Hollywood type of film,"Criminal Law Article 39" won the Berlin International Film Festival Golden Bear Award nomination.Yoshimitsu Morita’s director career with several ups and downs.he was known as" the genius who saved Japanese film",and also had to interrupt the film business.Every time he can save the day because of his keen eyes and deep artistic skill.He make the film "Let us take A train advancing" Before his death,completed the wish as a railway fan.To Yoshimitsu Morita,film is not only a art but also a way to exploring the world.His film is just like his character,flexible and naive.He managed to grasp a variety of themes,was known as the "vision of the son of the era."Yoshimitsu Morita’s director career began in the last century 80’s,The first part of this paper begins with the background of Japanese film development pedigree since the 1960s,analyzes the historical origins and background of Morita Mori’s style,Combined with the director’s own life experiences and works,combing its aesthetic changes from "Morita" to "new realism".The second part of this paper combines the 20 long films created by Yoshimitsu Morita to study its "family" motif,from love,family disputes,derailment elements in his film,we can see the the family theme changed from the lost to the return.The third part of this paper explores the female view in Morita Yuka’s works.He deals with the "body narrative" of women,and the "personality mask" approach of Japanese women,and attach more intention to the dilemma of modern women in their work and family,and tried to give a self-help way.The fourth part of this paper focuses on the analysis of the aesthetic style of his indulgence,his anti-cubist film composition,the description of the desire of the"floating grass",the analysis and reflection between the modern civilization and the classical civilization,the balance between art and business,is just as a pair of Edo era of the original color Ukiyo-e,to show the Japanese bubble economy era of civilians dream.
