Confucian temple,also known as Confucius Temple,is a place to sacrifice Confucius,a famous educator,statesman and thinker in the late spring and Autumn period.In ancient China,with the continuous strengthening of autocratic centralization system,the Confucian temple gradually evolved into a memorial building which promoted the Confucian thought and cultivated the national talents.From the late spring and Autumn Period,Confucius ’ hometown Queli was built in the Confucian temple to the Ming and Qing dynasties,counties and counties all over the country and above the administrative location has been built Confucian temple,the Confucian temple has become the local government,state and county administrative location of the most common signs,is also a cultural symbol.In the Qin and Han dynasties,with the frequent exchanges between Yunnan and the mainland,Confucianism began to spread in Yunnan,but the Confucian temple was founded later in the Yuan Dynasty.During the Ming and Qing dynasties,the rulers,in order to strengthen the control over Yunnan,built the Confucian temple in Yunnan,and wanted to take the Confucian "unification" thought to Han the people of Yunnan.In the yuan,Ming and Qing dynasties,there were 16 Confucian temples in Kunming,the main architectural style of the Confucian temple was unified,and the layout of the affiliated buildings was not custom-made.The Confucian temple was destroyed by the war,and the Confucian temple was built by the Qing Dynasty.In the late Qing Dynasty,due to various historical and practical factors,the existing Confucian temple building is only 11,and the preservation of the Confucian temple is uneven.Confucian temple is not only an important cultural relic in our country,but also a key carrier to carry forward our traditional thought and culture.The study of the Confucian temple in Kunming is conducive to its reasonable protection,and it is also conducive to the promotion and inheritance of China’s outstanding traditional culture.The author examines the history of the Confucian temples in Kunming,and studies the Confucian temple in Kunming,and explores the existing Confucian temples in Kunming,probes into the architectural features and protection status of the Confucius Temple,and puts forward some suggestions for the protection of the existing Confucian temples.By investigating and studying the Confucian temple in Kunming,it can not only improve the consciousness of protecting the Confucian temple,but also have profound significance to the traditional culture of our country,especially the inheritance of Yunnan culture.However,due to various historical and practical reasons,the situation of the protection of the Confucian temple is uneven.Therefore,attaching importance to the protection of Confucian temple in Kunming area is of great significance to inherit the Confucian temple culture.
