The clutch word is one of the key and difficult points in teaching Chinese as a foreign language.In the practice of teaching Chinese as a foreign language in Bohai University,although many Chinese learners master the usage of the clutch word,they cannot effectively identify the clutch word.Therefore,it is necessary to organize and study the clutch word in the teaching materials to facilitate student access and teacher teaching.This study adopts the methods of data statistics,qualitative and quantitative analysis.This paper summarizes and statistics the clutch words in developing Chinese from the aspects of quantity,recurrence rate,part of speech tagging,pinyin tagging,types and extended forms,and analyzes the errors of African students in Bohai university.Through analysis,it is concluded that there are mainly errors of insertion,overlap,inversion,application and identification,and the causes of errors mainly include improper treatment of clutch words in textbooks,no clear standards,inappropriate teaching methods of teachers,students' learning attitude and incorrect use of learning strategies.In view of the causes of the errors,this study proposes teaching suggestions and countermeasures from the three aspects of teaching materials,teachers and students.The teaching materials should be reasonably distributed,unified standards,and individual items.Teachers should pay attention to the teaching and separation of high-frequency clutch words.Expanded forms of teaching and different types of teaching methods,students should improve the initiative and enthusiasm of learning.
