The source text of this translation report is excerpted from Collaborative Professionalism: When Teaching Together Means Learning for All(Chapters 2 & 3),a book co-authored by Andy Hargreaves and Michael T.O'Connor.This book mainly elaborates cooperation among teachers and its importance.According to Peter Newmark's text typology theory,this book belongs to the informative text.Hans J Vermeer's skopos theory is applied in the translating process,in which the translator stresses the effect on target audience,purposes and objectives of the translation,and tries her best to make the target text,to the largest extent,faithful to the source text,internally coherent,fluent,lucid and clear by taking numerous translation methods such as conversion,inversion,division etc.The translator hopes this report can provide a conducive reference for the further translation and study of similar texts.
