In the 1930s,the left-wing literature of China had dominated the literary world.Lao She,who came back home in 1930,didn't favor the skills of the left-wing literature though,shared the same attention to social reality,the same concern for the bottom of society and the same exploration of the way out for the nation with the left-wing literature.This makes the interaction between Lao She and the lest-wing literature possible.Therefore,this paper chooses three cases to analyze the left-wing tendencies of Lao She's fiction and reveals the potential relevance of Lao She's writing ideology and the left-wing literature.This paper consists of four parts.The first part combs forefathers,research and proposes the key study points and the value of this paper.Besides,this part analyses the interaction between Lao She and the world of Chinese left-wing literature and points out the possibility that the 1930s' fiction of Lao She exists the left-wing tendencies.The second part stresses Lao She's experience in Singapore and indicates that Lao She came into contact with the branch of Chinese revolutionary literature---"the new literature" from Abortion,which was set up by students in the Chinese High School,and experienced the dense revolutionary atmosphere of the Chinese Society.Therefore,Lao She's thought has changed.From his novel Xiaopo's Birthday which was created in this period,Lao She has showed the left-wing tendencies.The third part centers on the problem that Lao She's fiction which critiques the banning prostitutes movement by Nanjing national government to reveal Lao She is similar to Marxist Theory of Women in pondering the root of "prostitution problem"and revealing the character of male centralism of the national government,which makes his"prostitute"fiction have left-wing tendencies.The last part centers on the "rickshaw novel" Black and White Lee and The Rickshaw Boy to analyze that Lao She is similar to the left-wing literature in manifesting the unprivileged's consciousness of collecting and resisting,negating individualism,attacking capitalism,revealing the direct reason of causing social revolution,which makes him show left-wing tendencies.
