In the past years,Chinese scholars have made great progress in the study of Sinology,but there are not many results in the analysis of modal particles.This paper selects two Chinese grammar masterpieces with similar time-interval meanings-"Chinesische Grammatik" and Ma Shi Wen Tong",aiming at summarizing the analysis of modal particles in two books and summarizing.And to draws the similarities and differences of conclusions from different perspectives and grammatical views from this two linguistician.At the same time,we found that the two summed up the innovations and concepts of the predecessors.The paper is divided into four chapters.The first chapter is the introduction,expounds the research status,and sorts out the research on the modal words of Gabelentz and Ma Jianzhong in the current academic circles,and points out the research ideas and innovations.The second chapter begins with the definition and feature comparison of Chinese modal particles in two books.It is found that the definition of Chinese modal particles by Western sinologists and missionaries represented by Gabelents is influenced by the mother tongue,from "Modality".Defined,and Ma Jianzhong borrows Latin grammar,defined by Mood",so there is no one-to-one correspondence between Ma Jianzhong s tone,modal particle and sentence class.Western sinologists and missionaries;represented by the cypress,are equal to the tone of the tone.The third chapter compares the grammaticalization function of Chinese modal particles.From the two to some controversial modal words,through diachronic analysis to compare the different grammatical views,and from the discussion of the cyber vocabulary highlights Grammatical features.The fourth chapter compares the pragmatic functions of modal particles in the two books,and finds that the analysis of modal particles in Chinese latitude and longitude" reflects the subjectivity of the modal particles,the function of information highlighting,and the function of pause sign.It is more accurate in Ma Shi Wen Tong,This research can promote the study of modal particles in China,from the perspective of synchronicity,grammar and sentence patterns,combined with advanced linguistic perspectives to study Chinese,and from a diachronic perspective,pay attention to the systematic nature of ancient Chinese,thus achieving The stone of his mountain "has the effect of jade.
