| Inscribed in the early Tang Dynasty,the inscription of Buddhist monk Yong ’s Shrita,written by Li Baiyao and Ouyang,is the representative inscription of Ouyang Xun’s regular script.However,according to the records,the original stone was destroyed in the Song Dynasty,and the rubbings handed down from generation to generation were as rare as the stars and phoenixes,and the categories were disorderly,so it was very important for the spread and identification of the stone carvings.At the same time,Monk Yong Zen Master was a prominent monk in the early Tang Dynasty.He was one of the main persons who founded the third-tier religion,from receiving Buddhist Dharma from monks to following Buddhist monks to preach in Chang’an.Only by investigating the relevant historical facts of Buddhism at that time and combining with the emergence and prosperity of the third-tier religion,can we have a comprehensive understanding of Monk Yong’s deeds.In addition,Taming belongs to one of the components of the Shrine Tower.It can also be used to study the background of the tower,the time of its publication,and the author of the book from the perspective of traditional epigraphy. |
