Study Of Shen Daren’s Theory Of Imagery Chinese Traditional Drama

In the mid-1980 s,the scale of Modern Chinese Drama Theory Building began to take shape.Shen Daren put forward the drama imagery aesthetic insights has aroused greater response in the industry and gained wide recognition.Under the influence of Zhang Geng,Shen Daren watched a large number of plays and realized that Chinese drama creation was facing a dilemma through the cross study of drama history and aesthetics,and that the stage practice of modern drama and the aesthetic principles of traditional opera were in an unbalanced development situation.Faced with this situation,it is necessary to innovate the traditional dramas belonging to ancient art in the contemporary era.Based on the transmutation of ancient Chinese aesthetic consciousness,Shen Daren first penetrated the category of “image” into the field of modern drama aesthetics and found the foundation of drama creation.This text is an analysis,orientation and summary of Shen Daren’s drama theory of imagery opera.Around the core of imagery opera,this paper explores the origin,creation and value of imagery opera theory.Research on the theory of Shen Daren’s theory of imagery drama includes four chapters:The first chapter “an overview of Shen Daren’s academic road”,based on the elaboration of Shen Daren’s life experience,this paper summarizes Shen Daren’s contribution to the construction of a five-in-one academic framework of Chinese Opera Academy,and reviews the achievements of Shen Daren’s opera commentary and theory over the years,and explores how Shen Daren relates to stage practice so as to pay attention to the function and value of image theory in Chinese classical poetry and painting theory,and why he puts forward the theory of imagery drama.The second chapter “on the origin of imagery drama”,is an analysis and summary of the academic history of Shen Daren’s imagery drama theory,Based on the interdisciplinary research of image category since 1980 s,this paper explores the establishment and development of the theory of imagery drama.The third chapter “the theory of imagery creation drama” is an analysis and research on Shen Daren’s theory of imagery drama this chapter is Based on the perspective of reality and virtuality of opera,and tries to use the theory of Imaginary Drama to explore the artistic laws existing in the creation and performance of drama,and summarizes the methodological characteristics of Imaginary Opera in the practice of creation and performance.The fourth chapter,“the theory of value of imagery drama”,discusses the guiding significance and practical value of image aesthetics and the theory of image drama based on the development results of modern drama aesthetics,and summarizes the position and role of Shen Daren’s theoretical achievements in the theoretical system of modern drama performance.Chinese drama is an art of constant innovation.At the same time,the theoretical form of traditional Chinese aesthetics is not satisfied with the summary of perceptual experience,but blossom and bear fruit in the contemporary and constantly improve their modern significance.The summary and exploration of Shen Daren’s imagery drama theory in this paper is not only the orientation and reflection of the theoretical value of Shen Daren’s drama,but also the reference and guiding function of its theory for the current drama creation.
