Research On Visual Image Design Of The Saizhuang Festival Of Yi Ethnic Group Of Zhizuo Chuxiong

Located in Yongren County of Chuxiong,Zhizuo is a remote geographic area with incredible cultural and ecological preservation and serves as a settlement to the branch of an Yi ethnic named Luoluopo.As a signature festival for the local heritage that has been passed along for generations,the Saizhuang Festival(a national fashion week)is the most direct external exhibition of the Luoluopo Culture and a focus of social protection and cultural tourism by the Yongren government.Since 2016,the Yongren government,in conjunction with the tourism reform plan initiated by Yunnan Province,branded Zhizuo as a cultural tourism destination and designated Saizhuang the Festival as the highlight of the tour.To achieve effective cultural protection that comes with economic benefits,the Saizhuang Festival is in urgent need of rebranding,specifically visual representations.Before the author accepted Yongren Government's commission on the visual image design of the Saizhuang Festival,the long-existing tradition was to borrow the designs from the Colorful Yunnan(international)National Saizhuang Culture Festival.Though occasionally mixed with visual elements from other regions,no delineation with the Saizhuang Festival of Santai,the design of the Zhizuo Saizhuang Festival never really had its own distinctive identity.Having a visual application system that is neither complete in content or compatible with the infrastructure,the presentation often leaves its audience unimpressed.Therefore,using "Research on Visual Image Design of the Saizhuang Festival of Yi Ethnic Group of Zhizuo Chuxiong" as topic by starting off with the graphic pattern of the Yi ethnic of Zhizuo,the author aspires to build a memorable visual image that respects and represents the original graphic pattern,color and connotation of the Yi ethnic of Zhizuo.The author strives to ensure the deliverable embodies integrity,aesthetics,and the spirit of her subject and facilitate the protection and continuation of the Luoluopo Cultural.
