There are abundant classifiers and many internal classifications in measure words,which is a major difficulty for foreign students to learn Chinese.Individual measure words are a kind of quantifiers,which are frequently used in daily life and literary works.Foreign students' mastery of individual quantifiers is limited to the common collocations provided by books,therefor,their comprehensive mastery of quantifiers is insufficient.The purpose of this paper is to to screen 16 individual quantifiers with highy used and high error rate through HSK Dynamic Corpus 2.0 and Modern Chinese Frequency Dictionary to examine the presentation and distribution of HSK Standard Course.Through the HSK dynamic corpus and questionnaire survey to collect corpus,thinking and analyzing the errors generated by foreign students in the use of individual quantifiers,and proposing some targeted teaching strategies and teaching suggestions for the resulting biases.The main contents of this paper are as follows:The first chapter is the introduction,which includes the reasons for the selection,research content,methods,the sources of corpus and the literature review of quantifiers.It summarizes the previous researches on quantifiers,the naming,classification and the definition of individual quantifiers.It also elaborates the related research of individual quantifiers and the study of teaching Chinese as a foreign language.The second chapter is to inspect the presentation of 16 individual quantifiers in the series of textbooks,exercise books and teacher's books of HSK Standard Course,as well as the interdict of individual classifiers in Liangci Yidian tong and Xiandai HanYu Babai ci.The third chapter is the survey of individual quantifiers of students and teachers.Investigate the use of individual quantifiers in primary?middle and advanced Chinese level students,The use and cognition of individual quantifiers in native majors,and how the teachers deal with individual quantifiers in teaching Chinese as a foreign language class.The fourth chapter is error analysis and teaching suggestions based on chapter 3.There are four kind of types of errors,which are misuse,omission,mistake,misorder.By describing the errors,access to relevant materials and interviews with overseas students to find out the reasons of these errors.And some teaching and learning suggestions are proposed for individual quantifiers from the perspectives of teachers,students and learning tools.The conclusion summarizes the main content of the full text and points out the shortcomings.
