Chinese individual quantifiers are the most important part of Chinese nominal quantifiers,and they are also widely used in Chinese language.The explanation of Chinese individual quantifiers is also one of the difficulties in Chinese Subject as a foreign language,mainly for Indonesian's beginner in learning Chinese,there must have a high frequency of errors in using Chinese individual quantifiers.This paper adopts various literature research methods by combining previous study results,and the opportunity given in having internship in Sisingamangaraja Junnior High School in Indonesia helps in selecting the best research method for the paper.Through the investigation on more than 300 students in the year of 2019 in using the individual quantifiers,resulting on 13 commonly used quantifiers which included in questionnaire.Through the survey will classify the cause of errors and the reason of errors occurred.Furthermore,the conducts of experimental teaching and tutoring teaching in a small range helps on identifying the errors occurred.It results on five errors in the use of individual quantifiers:the generalization of "?" quantifiers,the misuse of shape quantifiers,the confusion of homophones,the confusion of close quantifiers,and the overlapping misuse of quantifiers.The reasons for these errors include negative transfer of mother language,overgeneralization of target language,the influence of learning environment,the influence of cultural factors,and the compilation of teaching materials.According to these errors,this paper puts forward the feasibility Suggestions and countermeasures of teaching,to strengthen the teaching of the contrast of Chinese and Indonesian quantification,and using multimedia teaching and good teaching interaction,and according to the Chinese level of the learners to write a coaching books to enhance learners' understanding regarding these quantifiers and let students know more about the use of the individual quantifiers.
