Modern Chinese adverb"gan"is often used in daily oral communication,but due to its various and complex semantics,flexible and changeable grammatical functions and pragmatic features,it is not only difficult for second-language learners to learn it quickly from daily communication,but also difficult to be included in the syllabus and textbooks.Therefore,based on previous studies and guided by the theories of functional linguistics,cognitive linguistics and constructional grammar,this paper takes the negative expression of language as the entry point to systematically study the negative evaluation of the adverb"gan"for the convenience of future teaching and research.This thesis is divided into five chapters,as follows:The first chapter is the introduction.This thesis mainly introduces the origin and significance of the topic selection,summarizes the previous research status,points out the research methods,defines the research objects and explains the source of corpus.In the second chapter,we first classify the negative evaluation of the research object--the adverb"gan".That is,according to the form of the construction,we can divide it into the negative evaluation construction"gan V"and the negative evaluation construction"gan V?ye?V bu C".In the negative evaluation construct"gan V",According to whether the verb"V"in the construction can enter into the format"feel?‘juede'in Chinese?",It is divided into psychological negative evaluation construction"gan V1"and behavioral negative evaluation construction"gan V2".Secondly,we follow the traditional research route of construction,discuss the negative psychological evaluation of the adverb"gan V1"and the negative behavioral evaluation of"gan V2"respectively from the perspective of the construction meaning,the access conditions of the variable components in the construction,the syntactic function and the pragmatic function of the construction.In the third chapter,we firstly examine the negative evaluation of the adverb"gan"in the form of"gan V?ye?V bu C",and then also systematically discuss the construction from the perspective of the construction meaning,the access conditions of the variable component in the construction,the syntactic function and pragmatic function of the construction.In the fourth chapter,based on advanced Chinese learners'use of negative evaluation adverb"gan"and the results of previous studies,we develop an instructional design for advanced Chinese learners.In the five chapter,based on the previous research,we have sorted out the use process of the negative evaluation construction of the adverb"gan"and made a brief summary of the whole paper.
