With the development of China's economy and the improvement of its international status, more and more foreigners want to learn Chinese and understand China's profound culture. Many countries have experienced the phenomenon of "Chinese fever." The author was fortunate enough to go to the Confucius Institute at Kansas State University through Hanban's selection and found that some of the students in the Confucius Institute's Chinese class are ethnic Chinese learners.China has now become the second largest source of immigrants in the United States. Many Chinese Americans come to Confucius Institute, take Chinese courses in American universities,or learn Chinese through various other means. As a carrier of two languages and cultures, ethnic Chinese are a very special research object in the field of teaching Chinese as a foreign language.Due to the variety of Chinese adverbials, the composition is relatively complicated, and the order of multiple adverbials is changing. It is a difficult point for Chinese-speaking Chinese learners. This article takes American Chinese learners as the research object, after studying the relevant research results of Chinese adverbial ontology and second language teaching, based on the author's one year teaching at the Confucius Institute at Kansas State University and Chinese for other Confucius Institutes in the United States.Chinese learners issue the corpus collected by the questionnaire, sort out and screen the adverbial errors of the adverbial order, analyze the causes of the errors, and give relevant countermeasures and suggestions. This paper is divided into six parts:The first part is an introduction. It mainly states the reasons for the selection of the topic and the research value, the purpose and significance of the research, the research content and methods, the research object and the source of the corpus. The second part is a literature review. The author combs the current research results from the ontology research of Chinese adverbials, the research status of Chinese adverbials in second language teaching, the current research status ofoverseas Chinese teaching, and the current research status of students with dual language background. The entry point of this paper. The third part is the classification of errors. The corpus of ethnic Chinese learners was collected through one year of teaching and questionnaires. The corpus of partial errors in word order was selected and analyzed. The sentences of single, two and three adverbial bias error sentences were analyzed. The fourth part is the cause of the bias error.Through the analysis of the results of the questionnaire and the types of errors, the author believes that there are several reasons for the ethnic Chinese learners to produce adverbial order errors: negative transfer of mother tongue, influence of dialects, habitual literal translation, complexity of Chinese itself, and Chinese. The lack of a language environment. The fifth part puts forward relevant teaching strategies and suggestions for Chinese-speaking Chinese learners from the perspectives of “teachers, teaching and teaching materials”.All theoretical research must return to practice in the end,so the fifth part is the regression point of this paper. For a long time, most of the papers proposed teaching strategies are Chinese learners with English background, and few ethnic Chinese learners will take it out for explanation. The author will put forward some thoughts and suggestions on the learning, teaching and selection and writing of textbooks with a new entry point. The sixth part is the conclusion.Summarize the entire paper and point out the innovations and deficiencies.Provide a reference for future researchers.
