The "aesthetic appeal" of Zhang Yimou's film art is the central thesis of the article.Based on the internal aesthetic anatomy of Zhang Yimou's films,the article tries to delve into "the power of aesthetic ideology" and the leading pursuit by this aesthetic conception of his films.Hoping to put forward the objective point of view and thinking about the Art ontic returning of Chinese film productions?criticisms and researches."Zhang Yimou's film tragedy" is an aesthetic concept put forward in this paper.The first part of the article expounds the separation of aesthetic value and artistic noumenon of Zhang Yimou's films according to the differences of aesthetic essence between "Zhang Yimou's film tragedy" and "western tragedy".The trend of "power ideology aesthetics" reveals the value basis of Zhang Yimou's film aesthetic appeal.This part of the article draws on the ancient Greek tragedy theories,especially the western tragedy aesthetic "sense of nobility" and "fate" and other dramatic perspectives.This paper takes the fate of "destiny women" in the film as the research object,and aims to reveal the aesthetic essence of "Zhang Yimou's film tragedy" and its origin with the western tragic art.The second part of the article focuses on the aesthetic expression of Zhang Yimou's films.Through the typology and specialization of "destiny women",the expression way of female films in the patriarchal vision is completed,and the aesthetic pursuit of "power" is achieved.Based on Ferdinand de Saussure's and Michel Foucault's linguistic theory and feminist theory,this paper analyzes the essential nature of Zhang Yimou's film expressions.Commercial profit and "ideological aesthetics" are the fundamental pursuit of his films,which are realized by making use of people's desires and mass communication methods.The third part of the article focuses on the aesthetic narration of Zhang Yimou's films.The social ethical significance of film narration is analyzed by analyzing the narrative structure and theme of the film.This paper puts forward the innovative concept of "invisible structure-ethical narration" and explains the relationship between narration and power construction.In addition,the concept of "polyphonic narrative structure" created by Bakhtin's "polyphonic theory" is another valuable innovation.In addition,according to the theory of mass communication and the commerciality of film art,this paper sorts out the transformations of the theme of Zhang Yimou's films.The concepts of "traditional intellectuals" and "organic intellectuals" provide an explanation for the value transformation of Zhang Yimou's later films.This article draws on the dialectical materialism and historical materialism of Karl Marx's theories of literature and art,the theory of Greek tragedy,structuralist linguistics,feminist thought and Bakhtin's theory of literature and art to provide an explanation for the aesthetic appeal of Zhang Yimou's films.
