The employment problem of MTCSOL(means Master of Teaching Chinese to the Speakers of Other Languages)is accompanied by the growing international promotion of Chinese.As a professional master's degree established for the international promotion of Chinese,more and more colleges and universities have begun to set up master's degree programs in Teaching Chinese to the Speakers of Other Languages.With the increasing number of students enrolled in this major,the change of market supply and demand has led to the MTCSOL.The employment problem of graduates of MTCSOL has gradually become prominent: the professional employment rate is not high,and the proportion of overseas employment is low.The employment competition for MTCSOL is constantly increasing,and the problem of severe employment is becoming more and more obvious.As a university that entered the Chinese international education field earlier in the Southwest of China,Guangxi University for Nationalities has made full use of its geographical advantages to develop Chinese language international promotion.Over the years,it has trained a large number of outstanding talents to help Chinese international promotion.This paper uses the method of questionnaire survey and interview to investigate the personal employment information of the graduates of the 2014-2018 MTCSOLs of Guangxi University for Nationalities,and uses SPSS22.0 statistical software to sort out all the collected data.in conclusion:The first chapter is the introduction,which mainly expounds the background and significance of this research,the related research summary and the research methods and ideas;The second chapter mainly introduces the development background and current situation of the MTCSOL at Guangxi University for Nationalities;The third chapter is the investigation on the employment orientation of the MTCSOL in Guangxi University for Nationalities.It mainly studies the design process of questionnaires,the issuance and recovery of questionnaires,and the description of questionnaire results.The fourth chapter is to use the corresponding statistical means and methods to explore the factors affecting the employment of MTCSOL in Guangxi University for Nationalities after the results of the questionnaire are clarified;The fifth chapter starts from the results of the employment survey of MTCSOL graduates and the influencing factors,and puts forward the conclusions of this survey from three levels: social,school training and postgraduate individual: at the individual level,the graduates' overall professional and The comprehensive ability is low and the employment rate is not high;at the training level,the employment guidance for graduate students in schools and majors is not enough,and some curriculum and learning schedules can be further optimized;at the social level,the overall recognition of the major is not high,professional disciplines The attribution is also vague.The sixth chapter proposes relevant countermeasures and suggestions from three aspects: graduate individual level,school training level and social level.At the social level,it is necessary to improve the construction of a professional master's degree system,enhance the social recognition of the profession,and expand the employment of the profession;in terms of school training,the training program can be appropriately modified to make the teaching plan more flexible and to strengthen the targeted employment guidance for the profession.And the guiding role of the tutor in the employment process;on the individual level,it is necessary to establish a correct attitude towards employment,and to ensure the "special ability" of the profession while striving to enhance the "general ability" of the individual.To a certain extent,this research can reflect the training characteristics and quality of the MTCSOL in Southwest China.I hope that this research can help the MTCSOL of Guangxi University for Nationalities to find a suitable job in the process of employment,and hope to provide some valuable reference for the construction of the MTCSOL education.
