Taking Jiangxi's normal education in the period of the Republic of China as a starting point,this paper investigates the development of Jiangxi's normal education from 1912 to 1937.Taking Jiangxi Provincial Teachers' School,Rural Teachers' School and Women's Teachers' School as the foothold,this paper deeply analyses the organizational system and educational connotation of Jiangxi Teachers' Education during the period of topic selection,highlights the characteristics of Jiangxi Teachers' Education during the Republic of China,and explores the internal relationship between normal education and social development.During the period of the Republic of China,normal education in Jiangxi gradually developed under the influence of social environment and the promotion of educational policies,which was closely related to the changing needs of the times.The turbulent domestic situation,the slow development of Jiangxi's politics and economy,the inadequate educational reform and the repeated educational policies together paved a tortuous way for the development of Jiangxi's normal education in the Republic of China,which made it experience the rising stage,the tortuous development stage and the reconstruction stage successively,and in this process,the pace of progress was constantly adjusted to adapt to the new situation and new period.Through the research on the organization,curriculum and management of teachers and students in Jiangxi normal education during the Republic of China,this paper finds the guarantee to support the development of normal education,and sums up the rich connotation and personality characteristics of Jiangxi normal education during the Republic of China,including the education of teachers' morality,thinking and practice.From this,we can find out the profound influence of Jiangxi normal education on social development during the Republic of China,that is to say,it is conducive to the improvement of the quality of primary education and the progress of rural society,and gave full play to the uniqueness and superiority of normal education.In addition,the valuable development experience of Jiangxi normal education during the Republic of China enlightens the contemporary society to attach importance to the role of normal education in the whole educational system and social development,and always take rural education reform as one of the important links in the development ofeducation.
