There are many different religions in Vietnam,of which Buddhism has the longest history.Buddhist beliefs have the most profound impact on Vietnamese way of thinking,lifestyle and social customs.Buddhism's thoughts of compassion and fraternity,saving suffering and rescuing all living beings are increasingly penetrating into Vietnamese society as a whole.Vietnam's values,aesthetic standards,language exchange and other aspects are also influenced by Buddhist culture,and gradually formed its own characteristic culture.In the process of spreading and developing Buddhism,it is based on the promotion of Vietnamese.At the same time,Vietnamese vocabulary has also been developed.However,up to now,there has been little research on the Buddhist language of Vietnamese.Vietnamese Buddhist words are mostly loanwords,of which Chinese loanwords are the majority,and a small number come from Sanskrit.After entering Vietnamese,Chinese loanwords are restricted by Vietnamese pronunciation,vocabulary and grammar.How does it develop?What are the developments and changes?There are three parts in this paper:The first part is the introduction,which introduces the background,research object,research methods,theoretical basis and research status.The second part is from Chapter 1 to Chapter 4:The first chapter introduces the emergence and development of Vietnamese Buddhist vocabulary,the contact between Vietnamese and Chinese,the development process of Buddhism in Vietnam and the important influence of Buddhism on the development of Vietnamese.The vocabulary of Vietnamese Buddhism is classified according to the Sino-Vietnamese Dictionary of Buddhism,Vietnamese Dictionary and Ding Fubao's Dictionary of Buddhism.Chapter 2 and Chapter 3 are the focus of this paper,This paper mainly studies the Vietnamese phonetics and meaning of Buddhist loanwords from Chinese origin after they enter Vietnamese,their reasons and explains the characteristics of Chinese Buddhist loanwords.Chapter 4 combs Buddhist loanwords,looks at the influence of Buddhism on Vietnamese culture from Chinese Buddhist loanwords,and further explains the reasons for Chinese Buddhist loanwords becoming Vietnamese.The last part is the conclusion,which summarizes,reflects on the existing problems and prospects.
